7.00 AM: Breakfast at the Hotel. 8.00 AM: Depart for Dambulla. 11.00 AM to Noon: Visit Dambulla Cave Temple. 12.30 PM: Lunch in Dambulla. 1.00 PM to 3.00 PM: Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and evening for the elephant safari at Minneriya National Park. Check into the hotel in Sigiriya
It is the largest and best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. Inside are 153 Buddha statues in various reposes, three statues of ancient kings
Minneriya National Park
Minneriya National Park is home to a diverse range of animals, including Sri Lankan elephants, which gather in large numbers during the dry season, and other mammals like leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, spotted deer, and toque macaques. The park is also a significant habitat for over 160 species of birds, including endemic species, and various reptiles such as crocodiles and monitor lizards.

A very patient and hardworking man, our tour guide was excellent. We are very grateful that he reduced the tension of our journey.
