I had a wonderful time at Avatar with nice food, fun games, amazing people and the crew was so caring about us all in the group. Everyone was very friendly and even though the weather was both good and bad it never ruined the mood! Out captain was Lucky, and crew members were a lovely girl named Hanna and Schama (who joined us the second evening for a dance off)! Epic! Strongly recommend booking the Avatar for a fun and memorable trip!

The best sailing experience i have ever been on. Amazing Snorkeling and great beach views. Loved every second of it. Even when the weather wasn't the best, the crew more than made up for it. Kate, Hana and Jamie where the best crew i could have asked for.

First of all , we emailed prior to the trip to ask/make sure we would do everything as expected due to being bad weather. we were told we would be going to many snorkel spots but only did 2 on the whole trip. Due engine problems. We only visited whitehaven beach out of the possible 4 islands listed (hook island, haymen island and border island) we felt like we spent the whole of our trip inside the boat as it was raining the whole time. We expected to still see and do as many things even with the bad weather. Conditions on the boat were awful, nearly every bed was leaked on and wet even with every window “sealed” shut. People were sleeping on the seats due to this making it feel very over crowded which is the opposite to what it states in the description (“ Avatar is one of the fastest, most high-tech racing yachts ever to be offered for charter in Australia and never feeling overcrowded”) There were cockroaches in the beds and crawling around the cutlery . Ontop of this we didnt have any washing up liquid to wash the bowls or cutlery which really affected us as we didnt want to eat anything. We ran out of tea bags after the first morning so people who didnt drink coffee couldnt have a hot beverage to warm our selves up after a Rain had hit or snorkel time. we feel as if we have completely wasted 2 nights of our compacted trip in australia. The price we payed definitly did not match the expereince.

The boat was good. The crew was amazing. Amazing people and vibes. The boat was big enough that it did not feel crowded. There was not enough food. No snacks. The beds were quite dirty. We found a used pad in our bed. Would have been nice to get some more information about the whitsundays especially at the inlet lookout.

My favourite tour we’ve been in in Australia so far. Chris, Max and Jamie were brilliant. Jamie even provided some entertainment one night with alot of sing and laughs on the boat. I couldn’t recommend more.

best 2 nights !! greatest crew sammy (pirate), gus and kayla!! had the most fun, we got to do 3 snorkel spots, got to whitehaven beach before anyone else and had sooo much fun playing games in the evening. everything felt so easy and safe (I was a bit nervous before, but immediately felt at ease) even got to feed the fish when coming out of snorkelling early so still got to experience everything with everyone else. sleeping was a fun experience - either in your bed or on deck, and sometimes a mix of both! food was 10/10!!! thank you kayla, you definitely won’t go hungry :) would 1000% recommend to anyone, and if you get our crew definitely ask them for suggestions for fun games to play too!!

An absolutely amazing tour around the Whitsundays. The crew, Captain Sammy (pirate), Gus and Kayla were incredible and so fun. Knew lots about the islands and also cooked up some banging meals (the bolognese was unreal) x Always felt super safe on the boat as well as being able to have fun, see some amazing wildlife (turtles, wallabies, stingrays and lemon sharks!) and even help out putting the sail up at times! 10/10 would recommend going on this tour with this crew. We had the bestest time.

Unfortunately we did not know what we were doing as the trip seemed rather unplanned. Went on a hike to highest point in Whitsundays but was not informed of how challenging the terrain was prior resulting in everyone being in swimwear and flip flops resulting in injuries and being unable to enjoy the experience. We were on Whitehaven beach for an hour which was a shame as would have preferred longer. The length of visit seemed too long and the day experience sounded better - we wished we had chosen that for the price as we did Whitehaven beach and snorkelling in one day (on the first half day we did a hike and on the final half day just sailed back). Speaking to people who had gone on other boats seemed to have a much better experience. Crew was lovely, food was good but general organisation was not good enough for the price.

A real adventure! Great sailing, unforgettable night sleeping under the stars, and excellent snorkelling. We were lucky with the weather, and the crew and food were both great. They also gave really good backflip instructions, which was a fun bonus. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I had booked a 2d2nd mandrake tour with Ozsail a few weeks ago. We were looking forward to it until the day before our trip was due to start, when we recieved an email to say it had been cancelled. We called up support to ask why this was the case (as the email stated it was due to bad weather, despite the recent weather and forecast for the next few days being sunny cloud). On the phone, they said that bad weather had affected a number of people on our trip’s travel to Airlie beach, so they wouldn’t make it on time. As a result, they cancelled as there wouldn’t be enough people on the trip. I requested compensation, as we had to book a last minute trip through an alternative company at a higher price. I was told we were eligible to a full refund or to book onto an alternative boat through Ozsail. I was also told that we were lucky as those who cancelled (as they couldn’t make the trip) didn’t receive any refund. At this point, I don’t understand why our trip was cancelled. Ozsail appears to have pocketed the money of those who couldn’t make it to the trip and issue out refunds last minute for the people who could, refusing to accept any fault and provide compensation to any losses to us. This behaviour is truly disgusting and I would highly recommend not booking through this company. The fact a few people may miss the trip, means that they will just decide to cancel last minute for everyone else is awful behaviour. I simply don’t understand why they couldn’t operate the trip for those who were able to make it. Considering that they didn’t issue our refunds to those who were due to miss the trip, they wouldn’t even be operating at a loss. I’m truly lost as to why they decided to cancel other than just to maximise profit Do not book with Ozsail. They may very well decide to simply cancel last minute.
