5.00This stay was a dream come true. To actually be ON property where iconic outdoor scenes were filmed. Most beautiful view from any hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was amazing and served in the beautiful ballroom at the palace. the hotel rooms were very plain, need updating with charging outlets for devices, and needs new carpeting and a paint refresh. Long walk from elevator to our rooms. No food available to us all day as nearby restaurants were closed and didn't open until 6pm. We ordered delivery 3x at great cost to us. a Shuttle to town would have been nice instead of taking an uber every time. SOM tour was amazing, our guide "Kylie" was fantastic. The stop prior to Mondsee the porta potties were disgusting and unusable. IF this is a typical stop for this bus company, maybe they should arrange for them to be usable? Some locations are just a drive-by from a distance, was somewhat disappointing. We never received our "welcome drink" when I asked the front desk about it, she said "oh, that is the waters in your room", I don't think so as they were replenished daily.
Unbelievable customer service at the Leopoldskron and driver to Vienna (Andy)!

5.00Panorama is a great organization, very detailed oriented and delivers what they promise. We want to acknowledge the reception staff at the Schloss Leopoldskron. They helped us during our stay with making phone calls, booking Mozarts dinner show and arranged Ubers. It made our stay stress less and beautiful. Additionally the breakfast was excellent and very fresh. The cafe server was excellent as well, he remembered our drinks of choice delivered as we sat down. Wonderful customer service. Lastly, panorama coordinated our private transfer to Vienna to continue our vacation. Andy the driver who took care of us along with the team at panorama made the drive special. In addition, he recognized that my wife wasn’t feeling well, he immediately offered assistance and called his team and they arranged a doctor to see her, get prescriptions filled and still made to our destination on time. Many many thanks to Andy for his support and help. We were able to continue our trip and she is feeling much much better which would not have been possible without Andy’s assistance. Love Panorama and will use them again. Oh last thing- the sound of music tour was outstanding!

5.00This hotel is perfect for celebrating a special occasion. My daughter graduated from high school and we traveled to Salzburg to take in the sites associated with the Sound of Music. The hotel was extremely comfortable. The tour led by our tour guide, David, was out of this world. The daily breakfast on the balcony included stunning views and excellent food and service. One of the highlights for us was using bicycles to bike into town for lunch. The hotel has plenty of bikes. If your family enjoys the Sound of Music, I recommend this experience for a special occasion.

5.00The stay at the Schloss Leopoldskron was wonderful as we had access to the beautiful palace and grounds only seen from the distance across the lake by others. The breakfast was wonderful in the Venetian Room of the Palace. I booked 2 nights and it was well worth the stay at The Schloss Leopoldskron Hotel and what a wonderful place it is.

5.00Wonderful tour and stay. Our guide Gerhart and driver Alex were wonderful and Gerhart gave us lots of information maybe not known to everyone. The stay at the Schloss Leopoldskron was the added bonus as we had access to the beautiful palace and grounds only seen from the distance across the lake by others. I booked 2 nights and it was well worth the stay at The Schloss Leopoldskron.

5.00Leopold was an amazing guide for our Sound of Music tour. He showed us sites from the movie and from the real life Von Trapp family story. The villa and lakes he took us to were amazingly picturesque. He was enthusiastic and a lot of fun. Highly recommend this private tour!!!

5.00The setting is out of a story book. The facility is elegant and historical at the same time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the Palace was delicious. The Palace is well, a Palace. Words can't describe. Altogether, this was an incredible experience that I hope to repeat. The Sound of Music tour was interesting as well as fun. Singing and riding along to Sound of Music soundtrack. Loads of fun!

5.00The Sound of Music tour was great - it's on a greyhound-style bus that's completely full, but the guide and driver were excellent and very personable. They took us to a majority of the filming sites and provided lots of wonderful color about SOM. It is well planned and I never felt rushed. Staying on the grounds was amazing also. I was housed in a room in the small side house right next door, which was equally as cute and very cozy. The location is a little ways out of the city center (on the other side of the Hohensalzburg Fortress) but still walkable. It was worth it to be able to walk the grounds and enjoy the beautiful lake and scenery.
