Being a technique that can only be worked standing up, it is not recommended for those who are forced to stay in a wheelchair.
Having to handle glass and other tools of the trade, the workshop is proposed to an adult audience.

What To Expect
The workshop aims at the knowledge of this ancient art, with brief historical notes and an approach to all the materials necessary for the creation of a small stained glass window... to be worn! From the design project to the cutting of the cardboard templates, from the tracing of the model on the specially selected glass to the cutting of the glass with an oil glass cutter and subsequent detachment with the appropriate pliers, up to the welding of the small work of art. During the activity we allow ourselves a few minutes for a break with drinks, tea or coffee.

5.00This class is was amazing. Nestled into the heart of traverse, you get to fully immerse yourself in the environment and have fun. It’s a quieter class and small and that’s exactly what is needed. Your instructor takes her time, and she’s the sweetest lady on earth and very patient! You pick from patterns and leave with a warm feeling and a cool art piece 🥰

5.00A truly unique workshop starting from the host, Mrs. Michela greeted us with a truly impeccable attention and kindness. Step by step he explained the Tiffany technique by letting us experience all the steps first hand, dedicating time and attention. We came out of there super satisfied with the desire to deepen the technique and improve our manual skills. I want to recommend this experience to everyone but especially to Romans who often tend to underestimate these little gems that our city offers. These craft experiences, taught with true passion by craftsmen, are a great alternative when you are looking for a different experience, perhaps during a slow spring Sunday. We hope to do a new workshop with Funtiffany soon!

Michela was patient, warm and welcoming — generously sharing the history of stained glass and meticulously bringing us through even step of the craft process. She even accommodated us exceeding the booked hours (from being too ambitious with our designs).
