The Cardiff Tasting Tour is a fun and delicious way of discovering Cardiff.
On the Cardiff Tasting Tour you will enjoy a range of tastings including Welshcakes, cockles, cheeses and Welsh cider. We also get to discover Cardiff, its beautiful parks, majestic buildings, famous landmarks as well as finding the best places to eat, drink and shop!
Cardiff Tasting Tours run once a month on a Saturday from 24 Feb until 23 Nov 2024.
Tours start at Cardiff Castle at 10 00 and end at 12 30.
Duration 2.5 hours. Inclusions • Tastings of Welsh food and drink, information re Welsh cuisine and culture, plus a few words of Welsh on a guided walking tour of Cardiff. • French, Italian and Spanish Guides available.

What‘s Included
There are 5 tasting stops on the tour including Welsh tea/coffee, Welshcakes, cheeses, Clarks pies, Welsh rarebit and cider. All tastings of food and drink are included in the price.
Tastings of cider are included in the tour. Other alcoholic beverages are excluded.
What To Expect
Cardiff Market
A chance to visit this vibrant, indoor market, visit a 5th generation family-run deli and try one of Cardiff's famous Clark's pies.
Cardiff Castle
Our LWF guide meets you inside Cardiff castle. The guide will talk briefly about the castle and also talk about and point out the various attractions within the castle. Our first tasting stop is in the Keep Terrace cafe for Welsh tea/coffee and cake.

5.00My husband and I had an awesome tour with Sian! She provided lots of great and fun stories of Cardiff and what it’s been like living there over time. She had a wealth of knowledge that she shared but also was very interested in her people. The food choices were also very delicious! For anyone visiting, this tour provides a different way to experience Wales instead of history tour after history tour. Highly recommend!

5.00Excellent experience delving into a variety of Welsh food with a great background regarding the history and cultural implications of each food item. Ieuan Rhys not only was passionate about the food and the history of Cardiff, Wales, but he interacted personally with each tour member. Furthermore, he made the experience not only memorable but intimate with his willingness to share personal experiences and stories. He was genuinely interested in where each tour member was from and he asked many questions about where everyone was from in the world. I cannot recommend this walking food tour enough!

5.00Absolutely brilliant morning sampling some of Cardiff food highlights. Sian was a delight, so friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. We loved learning more about the history of Cardiff. The food stops were exceptional, so much so, we went back to one of them to buy more!! Met some lovely people too and it's inspired me to learn some Welsh! We'll be recommending this to everyone ☺️
