We did the 2 day 1 night Kalaw to Inle Lake trek in February 2025. Robin was our guide & he was amazing! He is a wealth of knowledge to the area & was always so caring & kind throughout our trek. Prior to booking, Rohit had great communication us. He made sure to answer all of our questions & met with us in-person the day before our trek to go over the plan. He is very professional! The hike itself is not the best in February due to the dry conditions, but we still enjoyed it. It was moderately difficult due to the length of the hike & the heat. It is mostly flat with some hills mixed in. Robin always made sure we had enough water & that we took plenty of rest breaks. The food on the trek was amazing. Robin’s wife made us some incredible chapati for lunch along with eggs & fruit. Dinner at our home stay was delicious as well. Our hostess made us 7 different dishes & we enjoyed all of them. The homestay was comfortable with padded mattresses and thick blankets. Definitely bring a warm jacket as it gets chilly at night! It is such a cool experience to stay with a local family in their village - definitely a highlight in Myanmar. I’m happy we did the 2 day 1 night trek, and if you are going during better hiking conditions the 3 day 2 night trek might be worth it too. Thank you to Robin for his professionalism & guidance during our trek. We feel so lucky to have had you as our guide! Also, special shoutout to Sanjoe (spelling?), for transporting our belongings safely. We appreciate the whole team!

Rohit waited for us at the bus station from very early until we finally arrived Kalaw. He took us to the agency and he helped us understand what the best route would be for us. We had Simon as our private guide. He was superb! Funny, English speaking, shared his knowledge about his country and culture and was interested in our culture and country as well. He took very good care of us throughout the whole two days including making sure we ate enough, had enough water and helped us when one of us was injured. Rohit and Simon are super nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

Amazing time with Marmar, our guide! We spent 2 days and 1N with him. He was very kind and always ready to answer our questions about Myanmar and nature. He has a quite good English. We crossed different villages and so different beautiful landscapes. The host for the night were welcoming and confortable night (it can be cold take warm clothes). It is possible to buy water and gifts on the way. To notice the entry to Inle Zone is not included in the price of Rohit (15K kyats/pers). We walked around 35km in total but it was not difficult most of the time was easy and flat. Food was great the 2 days (noodles, rice, fruits and avocado). Thank you again Marmar, it was an amazing trip with you 😍
