Upon arrival, we spend a tranquil night on the shores of Lake Kivu, allowing guests to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure. The following morning, we proceed to Kahuzi-Biega National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its eastern lowland gorillas. At 6:00 AM the following morning, we embark on a journey to Kahuzi-Biega National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its eastern lowland gorillas. Our first stop is at the border for visa processing, followed by a scenic 90-minute drive from Bukavu border town to the National Park. The adventure begins with an 8:00 AM briefing, preparing us for an exhilarating gorilla tracking experience. The highlight of this expedition is the rare opportunity to spend one hour in the presence of the majestic lowland gorillas, observing their behavior and social interactions in their natural habitat. After this unforgettable encounter, we return to Rwanda, concluding our day with an overnight stay in Karongi.
