Eva and Mish were our trusty guides. So knowledgeable about birds, geology and how to take care of everything. I felt pampered. Beautiful food presentation and a new table cloth every day. The walk is graded 4 but I would grade it 2/3. It is very doable and I felt great when I finished. A sensitive balance of commentary and quiet time to enjoy Mother Nature. The forests, bird life and ocean views were fabulous. Accommodation was beautiful in an ocean villa. The pool at Murramurrang Resort added to my pampering, At first I thought this 3 day trip was a bit pricey. It was worth every cent because all my needs were taken care of.

This experience was outstanding in every way. The setting is an unspoilt coastal national park which our guides thoughtfully brought to life by identifying and explaining unique plants, birds, geology and history. There is a degree of physical challenge that makes the wonderful food feel like it’s earned. But it’s paced so well that I felt rejuvenated after the 3 days. Eva and Dave were awesome guides.

I just can't fault this tour. From start to finish our every need was considered. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, patient and caring - and fun! The walk was as challenging as we expected but ending in a nice villa by the beach fixed everything. Add to that delicious - and ample - food, a champers on arrival on Day #1, lots of info about flora, fauna, geology.....it really was a fantastic experience. Our 4th tour with Region X (have done kayaking and camping before) and will not be our last. Thank you!

The walk was so interesting over different terrains and through varied landscapes. Lots of different bird species and wildflowers to view. Pace was more than manageable. We were so fortunate to be part of a wonderful group and guided so excellently, by Eva and Dave. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Seeing dolphins sleeping on Day 2 and the constant sightings of whales along the way, were definitely highlights, topped off by the serene paddle in the kayaks! Food was plentiful and delicious! This trip is a must do to add to your bucket list!

As a solo traveller in my 60s, I embarked on this 3 day hiking trip with a bit of trepidation. I needn't have worried! Our guides, Gabe and Eva, were so friendly and welcoming - as were the rest of the group. We were all firm friends before we got to the top of the steps at Maloney's Beach! Visually, the walk was beautiful, even though we had intermittent rain every day. The coastal scenery and the bushland were spectacular. Physically, the walk was incredibly satisfying. While we had some long distances to cover, it was well within the capabilities of all our group - and none of us (except our youthful guides) were spring-chickens! At the end of each day, we felt pleasantly tired; at the start of each morning, we were ready and excited to walk again! A wonderful experience that I thoroughly recommend. Oh - and the food was great! Healthy and satisfying - and plenty of it! :)
