Tusheti is located in north-eastern part of Georgia in Great Caucasus mountains. One of the most stunning, remote and difficult accessible region of the country.
Due to the extreme weather conditions in winter, the region becomes accessible only for limited time from the second part of June and the road is open till mid of October.
Off road (4x4) tour to Tusheti. 120km drive on asphalted road and the remaining 70km is complete off-road through Abano pass (2,900 mt above sea level). Arrival in village Omalo for 2 overnights which will include breakfast and dinner.

Tusheti is such an off-the-beat trip and I love everything about this trip: the magical sceneries, the off-the-beat road, the people I met, the small-village life, and so on. Giorgi, being my guide + driver for the entire 3 days, was excellent. He was professional, entertaining, and a great person to spend the 3 days with. Everything about this trip is just so memorable and I can’t wait to go there again in the future!
