Day 1: Pickup from Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park Begin your safari with a morning pickup from your hotel in Mombasa and a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most iconic wildlife reserves. Along the way, enjoy views of the Kenyan countryside and small villages. Arriving at Tsavo East, dive into your first game drive. Known for its open plains, the park is home to famous red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and more. You’ll visit highlights like the Galana River and the stunning Yatta Plateau, which holds one of the longest lava flows in the world. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll settle into your safari lodge or camp for a relaxing evening and dinner, immersed in the natural surroundings of Tsavo East.

After an early breakfast, start your full-day adventure in Tsavo East with a morning game drive through the open plains, seeking elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Stop at Aruba Dam, a prime wildlife gathering spot, and explore the scenic Galana River area, where you might spot hippos and crocodiles. After a midday break and lunch at your camp or a picnic spot, continue with afternoon game drives as animals emerge in the cooler hours. Look out for Tsavo's unique red-dust elephants and vibrant birdlife. In the evening, return to camp for dinner, relaxing under the African sky after an unforgettable day.

Our guide, George, was outstanding — his many years of experience made a big difference, and we were able to see plenty of wildlife. This was easily one of the best safaris we've had in a long time. The experience was absolutely amazing, our guide, George, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and made sure we had the best time exploring this huge park. The lodge was also wonderful ( voi wildlife lodge), offering a perfect place to relax after exciting game drives. 5.00My friends and I had a great time at Tsavo East from watamu, we booked joppa kenia Safaris for the three days we spent here. The game drives were amazing. We enjoyed the wildlife and the accommodations, we stayed at man eaters camp, and the experience was fantastic. Our guide George was very knowledgeable and knew this park like the palm of his hand. 5.00My friends and I booked for a three day safari to Tsavo East from watamu with Joppa Kenia Safaris, and they were really helpful in planning and selecting our accommodation. we stayed at man eaters camp. Out Guide Ringi was the best with his many years of experience. we saw Lions' elephants and so many more and as well visiting the lugards' falls was a cherry on top of the cake. We were truly certified with the service of Mr Ringi, our driver-guide, for making our safari the best asanteni sana we highly recommend this tour company..contact them if you are in watamu for short days safari.
