Tour to Skye

Loch Tulla Viewpoint

In this beautiful viewpoint, you can take in all that the Highlands have to offer in a single place: moutains, lochs and forests.

Rannoch Moor

Scenic drive through the dramatic scenery of the largest bog expanse in the United Kingdom. Many film and TV shows have been shot here, taking advantage of the stark landscape.

The Three Sisters

We will stop over at the Three Sisters of Glencoe, an iconinc mountain viewpoint, and the most photographed place in Scotland. Here, you will be able to enjoy the awe-inspiring scenery and relieve some historic episodes of the MacDonald Clan.

Glenfinnan Viaduct

A 30 min drive takes us to our main attraction. Embrace the magical setting of this world-famous Harry Potter film location and witness the ‘Hogwarts Express’ steam train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct. It is our aim to arrive by 12:20pm, the Jacobite train can be best seen form the hill beyond the viaduct, it is a 25 min walk, with the train expected between 1:10 and 1:30pm (the train only runs from early April to late October).

Mallaig

We will then take you to the fishing village of Mallaig where we will get the ferry across to the Isle of Skye.

Fairy Pools

Our first stop in Skye is also one of its most popular visitor destinations. The Fairy Pools are beautiful crystal-clear blue pools on the Allt Coire a' Mhadaidh (Burn of the Dog), which can be seen snaking down the hillside of Coire na Creiche into Glen Brittle where it becomes the River Brittle. You can hike the pools – and maybe even go for a swim if you’re brave enough!

Sligachan Old Bridge

Our final stop of the day before we take you to your accommodation will stop at this legendary site, where you can dip you face in the waters below Sligachan Old Bridge to gain eternal beauty from the faeries!

Skye to Inverness

The Old Man of Storr

Heading North of Portree your journey will take you to the Old Man of Storr, the recognized iconic ridge in Skye, where you can do the hike over to the stone formation. You may recognise it from the opening sequence in the movie ‘Prometheus’.

The next stop is at the impressive Lealt Waterfalls.

A short distance away, we will take you to the Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls viewpoint.

An Corran Beach

The next stop is the An Corran beach in Staffin, best visited at low tide to find the recently discovered Megasaurus dinosaur footprints!

Moving on, we will take you to the Quiraing - another amazing vantage point for stunning photos.

Eilean Donan Castle

This iconic monument is the most photographed castle in Scotland, and the quintessential 'picture postcard' of Scotland. You may also recognise it from the famous 80's 'Highlander' movie.

The award-winning Chocolates of Glenshiel chocolaterie makes for a perfect break for some hand-made chocolates or hot chocolate. From the cafe, you will be able to oberve the busy chocolatiers in the production area.

Tour from Skye through to Glencoe and back home

Clava Cairns

Clava Cairns are neolithic burial cairns 4000 years old, surrounded by stone circles. These stone circles were the inspiration for ‘Craigh Na Dun’ in the TV hit series ‘Outlander’.

Culloden Battlefield

    Absolutely incredible experience. This tour was everything we were looking for and more. George was a true gentleman, entertainer and warm guide throughout. It really felt like a road trip with a friend, and we loved George's constant grandad jokes! We will definitely ask for George next time we visit Scotland!

    We were constrained by time so this tour fit perfectly our schedule to tick off th highlands, inverness, loch ness and skye in one tour was pretty amazing. It was a spectacular trip and the guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
