Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou
Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
Today offers flexible options to travel to Jiuzhaigou by private vehicle or bullet train. Option 1: Bullet Train Journey (Note: Passport photos must be provided 15 days in advance for ticket booking.) Morning: Visit the Chengdu Panda Base. Afternoon: Take the bullet train to Huanglong-Jiuzhai Station. Evening: Transfer to a private vehicle for a 2-hour ride to Jiuzhaigou. Option 2: Private Vehicle Journey Sub-option A: Morning: Visit the Chengdu Panda Base. Afternoon: Drive directly to Jiuzhaigou (approx. 7-hour journey). Sub-option B: Morning: Depart Chengdu and drive to Pingwu (approx. 4-hour journey). Midday: Visit Pingwu Bao'en Temple and enjoy lunch. Afternoon: Continue to Jiuzhaigou.(approx. 3-hour journey) Both private vehicle routes allow flexible scheduling adjustments during the journey. Note: The transportation method chosen for traveling to Jiuzhaigou (private vehicle or bullet train) will also apply to the return journey.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Professional and well organized. Our guide Michelle was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, accommodating, and very thoughtful. We traveled with two younger kids and Michelle was very attentive to all of our needs. Jiuzhaigo was beautiful with all of the emerald and blue colored lakes, perfect reflections, lush forests, and amazing waterfalls. Huanglong was equally beautiful with unbelievable turquoise colored pools, unique travertine formations, and snow capped mountains in the distance. One thing to note, Jiuzhaigo reaches an elevation of 3100 meters and Huanglong 3500 meters. So it is cool even during summer and the air is quite thin. Overall, a truly memorable and wonderful experience!

5.00Jiuzhaigou is spectacular and worth get there. Jason and friends was an excellent driver and guide. He was knowledgeable about history of Tibetan people who live in the area, recommend accommodation and so delicious local food. He was kind and attentive to our every need, kept us well fed, we have been given great convenience. We happy and feel comfortable during this trip.

5.00Jiuzhaigou is spectacular and worth the long drive to get there. Jason was an excellent driver and guide. He was knowledgeable about the Qiang and Tibetan people who live in the area and about the park. He was kind and attentive to our every need, kept us well fed and supplied with water and snacks. We felt very well taken care of.
