After our upwards climb, we arrive at the Inca site Wiñay Wayna ('Forever Young') (2680m/8792ft) This is an impressive complex made up of an agricultural center with numerous terraces, a religious sector and an urban sector. Many consider this the most impressive site on the whole Inca Trail. We will have our boxed lunch at Wiñay Wayna.

As you are arriving late in the day you may be lucky enough to enjoy the view by yourself! • Amazing family trip with Inca trail hike

Did the 3 day tour with friends and kids ages 9 and 12. Luis was our guide (mine for the second time) and Juan was our driver. Cusco and Ollayantaytambo tours were fantastic and we loved the llama rescue and local textile/weaving. We did the 1 day 8 mile hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We did not realize there would not be any water available along that hike and did not bring enough, which made for an uncomfortable second half. A lot of the hike was uphill and was described as moderate level ok for kids 8 and over, but it was pretty tough for the kids and for me too. Luis was very patient with us and we took breaks as needed. We routinely do 3-4 mile hikes that involve hills/canyons in California but this was significantly more difficult. Regardless, once we were done we were all glad to have done it and coming over the hill to see Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate was pretty magical. The last day we did a pretty low key tour of Machu Picchu, which was fine. All in all an unforgettable trip with Luis as our guide.

We had an incredible experience in Peru touring the Inca sites and walking part of the Inca trail. Our guide was Louis. He was great. Very knowledgeable and personal. I highly recommend booking a tour with him.

We organized our trip to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley through this agency – and it was just great! Everything went smoothly from the beginning: There was always someone available, the communication was excellent, and we felt well looked after at all times. We were particularly impressed with the organisation and the warm guides on site – all were very professional, friendly and helpful. You never felt like you were alone. The tours were super planned and perfectly matched to our wishes. Each station was well thought out, the transfers on time, and the procedures perfectly coordinated. We could really enjoy our trip without having to worry about anything. You can tell that people work with a lot of heart here. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to experience Peru intensively, safely and with great people. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

We had a really great experience with our guide Jose. We got a great history lesson along the way. A nice blend of seeing wonderful sights, a day hike to the Sun Gate and then a day to explore Machu Picchu. I recommend going with this company!

Thanks to our local guide Garry we were able to see a variation of Peruvian and Inca highlights. Thanks to Roman we were able to go to the places in a safe and comfortable way as he was our local driver. We’ve been able to get in contact with Fredi from the Netherlands. He was able to arrange a good package within the time we’ve had around Cuzco and Machu Picchu. This was the first time we’ve had a tour in South America and I can highly recommend this company! We have not been able to do everything within the time we’ve had around this area. Thanks guys!
