This popular 3-day tour allows you to experience the old city of Saint Louis, the first city to be created by the Europeans in French West Africa. As a UNESCO world heritage site, Saint Louis is still preserving much of its 19th century architecture. However, the old city reminds you a lot of New Orleans with its French influence and wood balconies lining the narrow streets. A city tour on horse-drawn carriage will allow you to explore some of city s best known landmarks built in the mid 19th century. A 2-hour drive from the old city takes us to LOMPOUL desert. Possibility of Camel ride. A lifetime overnight experience will allow you to enjoy the calmness and quietness in tradiditional tents with modern facilities in the middle of the desert.
After breakfast, we will proceed for a 3-hour drive back to Dakar.

We will leave Saint Louis for a 2-hour and half drive to LOMPOUL desert. A 4WD jeep will pick you up and take you to the middle of the desert. Enjoy entertainment at dinnertime and overnight in traditional VIP tents with modern toilets inside. We will take a Camel ride in the afternoon or do sand surfing.
