I have to admit that Namibia 🇳🇦 blew me away by its beautiful, vast landscapes, animals and epic red dunes, making it the oldest and ancient desert in the world 🌎 I really thank our guide, Simon, for making this experience unforgettable.....I highly recommend loved ones and friend to explore what this great and newly independent country has to offer. And of course Caméléon Safari does not disappoint.....thank you all for your help and support during this wonderful trip...Namibia forever

Great option for solo travelers. I joined in on this tour in Swakopmund (with Gideon being the guide) after leaving my Namibian friend behind. Due to her scheduling it wasn't possible to take me to Sossusvlei (every destination in Namibia takes a minimum of 4+ hours driving). The drive to Desert Camp (the accommodation) took about 5-6 hours with stops in between (Tropic of Capricorn Sign, and Solitaire Petrol & Diesel). The accomodation itself was great (had AC!) and the views were just wow (the best spot for stargazing). There is a pool area but in 38*C+ weather the water was warm but it was still nice to lounge around in the shade. Breakfast and Dinner was at Sossosvlei Lodge and honestly it was the best breakfast and dinner buffet I had in Namibia. On the day that we go into Sossusvlei we woke up super early to get breakfast (before 5.30am) to make it on time for the opening of the park. Our first stop was to change vehicles to a Safari van. Here you can use the bathroom. Then our first stop was Deadvlei. To get to the trees is about a 20 minute walk alongside the dune. Afterwards we swung by Sossusvlei and then the Sesriem Canyon. We were back at Desert Camp by around 12.30ish. Then Gideon cooked us lunch and we all lounged around by the pool or took naps until dinner time. On our last day headed back to Windhoek we did get a flat tire but Gideon was an expert at changing the tire. Despite the flat tire we made it into Windhoek in great time after visiting the solitaire cheetah conservation.

We, the group was of 3 of us, have had a very satisfying experience. In 3 days we could see many different animals in their own landscape and also good experience in the camp, with a wonderful guide/chef, Anton. He was always very professional and very kind to us. The only disvantage for me was to leave from Swakopmund (that means you must stay there a day after) and come back in Windhoek

We have done 3days Sossusvlei Express Accommodated Safari starting from Swakopmund and ending at Windhoek on Oct 6-8, 2024. There was a technical glitch which delayed the start of the tour. Our tour guide, Gideon efficiently resolved the issue and managed to offer plenty of photo stops with valuable information on those locations. His sharing of few anecdotes also made the long stretch of drives more interesting. The accommodation and meals at Sesriem were wonderful. The vista of Deadvlei and view from top of Big Daddy left an unforgettable impression to all of us. All other spots like Sesriem canyon, Solitare Cheetah rehabilitation centre, Dune45, Dune40 etc. were also explored with sufficient time. From tour booking to Airport pick up and dropping – all were coordinated smoothly thanks to Emgard and Chameleon team at back end. I would definitely recommend Chameleon Safari for any tour within Namibia.

Our guide was Kennedy, who is a genius at driving and leading, most importantly, full of humor! I think his episodes are a part of scenery in Namibia, should be as well-known as the Sossusvlei. We really enjoyed our journey and had so many good memories with other new friends. Personally speaking, the experience was one of the highlights in Namibia.
