Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Sout Iceland
Thingvellir National Park
We visit the place where the two tectonic plates, the North American and the Eurasian plate, are moving away from each other. Few places in the world offer a better and clearer view of this massive geographic activity. The biggest natural lake in Iceland is also located at Thingvellir National Park and hosts a great variety of fish and bird life. Thingvellir is also an important place for Icelandic national history. At Thingvellir Icelanders founded their parliament in 930 a.d. where the chieftains had their annual meeting every summer. The name “Thingvellir” translates to “Parliament Plains”.
Gullfoss Falls
The melting water from Iceland´s second biggest glacier, Langjökull, falls into a deep canyon forming the majestic “Golden Falls”. On a sunny day, you can see the glacier Langjökull in the distance and enjoy a rainbow in the mist of the waterfall, an Instagram blockbuster waiting to happen!
Site de Geysir
The Geysir geothermal area hosts hundreds of colorful hot springs and two geysers, erupting hot springs. One is called “Geysir” and name giving for all the geysers in the world. Today, however, it erupts very seldom. The other geyser is called “Strokkur” and erupts every 5 minutes up to 40 meters.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast
Seljalandsfoss waterfall
The adventure begins when we pick you up in Reykjavík in a small and comfortable minibus before heading straight to the South. Our arrival is announced by the powerful theatrics of Seljalandsfoss. Bring a raincoat and you’ll be able to make the short hike behind the falls. The scene behind the fall and the trembling ground from the power of the falling water makes for an automatic Instagram blockbuster!
Skogafoss
Further east along the coast is Skógafoss waterfall. Skógafoss is an incredibly picturesque sight. Tucked in a little gorge, the river Skógá tumbles down a 60-meter cliff before continuing down the landscape towards the Atlantic Ocean. Alongside the gorge, a staircase can take you to the shelf above the waterfall for stunning views. See if you can count your steps on your way up.
Skaftafell National Park
We will hike an outlet glacier spawning from the one of the largest glaciers in the country, Vatnajökull. After meeting our highly trained glacier guides and strapping on our safety and glacier equipment, including helmets, harnesses, crampons and ice axes we hike on the ice for an hour and a half. A spectacular experience and opportunity to learn more about this breathtaking and increasingly rare natural phenomena. Skaftafell area has been used as a filming location for many famous TV shows and films, such as Game of Thrones, Interstellar, James Bond, and others… Follow the steps of your favorite characters into the glacier!

Jokulsarlon
Heading off day nr. 3 is Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and boat ride tour among the icebergs. This is a a 200m deep glacial lagoon fed by Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of Europe’s largest glacier. Enormous icebergs come from Breiðamerkurjökull all year round so the lagoon is usually filled with ice that floats south. Try walking alongside the glacier lagoon enjoying the magnificent views and dead silence of Icelandic nature.
Reynisfjara Beach
Before heading back to Reykjavík, we visit the black sand beach of Reynisfjara where the Atlantic coastline presents massive waves hitting the unique basalt columns in the cliffs above the sand. Rock pillars in the water and the cliffs of Dýrhólaey are seen in the distance. This area of the south is also a paradise for bird lovers, as puffins and dozens of other unique species nest on top of these cliffs in the summertime from June to August.
Katla Ice Cave Kerlingardalsvegur
Katla Ice Cave is a stunning natural ice cave beneath the Mýrdalsjökull glacier in southern Iceland, known for its shimmering blue ice and dramatic formations. Our ice cave guide will meet you in Vík and take you on an unforgettable journey to explore this unique, otherworldly wonder.

Had a great tour here in Iceland. We spent 2 nights and 3 days with an incredible tour guide, Rocky. Trolls is a great company, and it’s clear their success comes from the quality of the guides they choose for each experience. We never had a down moment—it was obvious every stop and transition was well thought out and planned. The entire trip felt seamless, which made it easy to just relax and take it all in. Great value and a completely worry-free experience. I especially loved being able to sit back, enjoy the scenery, and let someone else handle the driving and logistics. The Golden Circle portion of the tour was a highlight. Walking between the tectonic plates at Thingvellir National Park was surreal—you can literally feel the history and significance of the place. Watching the Strokkur geyser erupt every few minutes never got old, and Gulfoss waterfall was absolutely breathtaking—powerful, massive, and something you just have to see in person. Beyond that, visiting the Glacier Lagoon was unforgettable—seeing the floating icebergs up close felt like something out of another world. Right next to it, Diamond Beach was just as impressive, with chunks of ice scattered across the black sand like crystals. The black sand beach itself was stunning and unlike anything I’ve seen before—raw, powerful, and a little humbling with the waves rolling in. The ice cave experience was just as incredible. Walking inside the glacier, surrounded by deep blue ice, was easily one of the most unique things I’ve ever done. We also made several scenic stops along the way that weren’t crowded or rushed, which made the experience feel more personal and authentic. Whether it was waterfalls, viewpoints, or just taking in the Icelandic landscape, every stop felt intentional. Overall, this was one of those trips where you don’t have to think—you just experience. Huge credit to Rocky for making it memorable. If you’re on the fence about booking with Trolls, don’t b

This tour was great and included so many wonderful stops. Branimir could not have been a better guide! His energy and knowledge made every stop exciting. Branimir was extremely attentive to safety (both on and off the bus), kept a timely schedule, and always made sure we stopped to stretch and use facilities whenever possible. I couldn't recommend this tour or Branimir more!

Meeting great guides, enthusiastic guides (forget his name) tall and enthusiastic, and today's Swaine Bjorn, was moving and would recommend it to my friends. Happily lucky to meet a lovely guide, introduce the scenery along the way and take pictures of us. The driver who picked us up from Ray was also great, takk (he taught me that).

It was my first tour of Iceland. I was a little nervous because the price wasn’t cheap, but it was a great tour well worth it. Our guide Rocky was a very pleasant person, who drove, explained, managed the schedule and even enlivened the group perfectly. Thank you so much for your support!
