Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara. You will pass via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a stop over of 10 -15 minutes to view the Rift Valley. Lunch will be at the camp in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a sunset evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve (4.00 to 6.00p.m). Return back to the camp for buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at Enkajiang camp/ Rhino Tourist Camp or similar. (The tents have toilet, shower, bed, linen and mosquito nets. Electricity is provided from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm in the evening. Also from 6:00 am to 8:00 am in the morning). Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It’s regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sitted at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. A balloon safari at a discounted USD 380 per person can can be organised early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for cultural encounter on your way- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you en route out of Maasai Mara. Thereafter commence your drive to Nairobi. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided on the way in a traveler's motel. On arrival you will be dropped at your Nairobi Hotel.

    The entire tour was beyond expectations! Our guide, Sammy, was exceptionally kind and helpful, caring, ensuring we had the best experience possible. He went above and beyond to help us witness Kenya’s most stunning and fascinating wildlife, including the big 5. The organization was seamless, even when we had last-minute changes from our side — Bush Pumba adjusted at all times and gave valuable recommendations. A special mention to Samuel’s incredible knowledge; learning from him was very interesting. We are lucky to have come across Bush Pumpa agency and guide Sammy who was a great company - great and everlasting memories were made, thank you.
