Our guide will be ready to pick you up from the designated departure say hotel, Airport or apartment and then have a brief briefing of the journey and you can ask any questions in regards to the safari before you set off. For Airport pick ups in case it's late we can always organise a hotel for you to rest and let off the jet lag before we can take you a safari, this allows you to calm down and freshen up your mind as you prepare to have this amazing safari. Our guides are highly trained and well organised to make your safari different and memorably successful . The road trip from Kampala/ Airport to Murchison Falls National Park takes about 5 hours and a half which is about 369km to Pakwach district at Tangi gate.

The early morning game drive will be so rewarding with african wildlife especially the big 4 and there after we head to the thunderous Murchison Falls. The scenery of the gifted Uganda at Chobe is amazing. The fresh air from the river around the lodge was refreshing.Inside the park where we had other nights was amazing,the animals take shelter in the compound at night.It was such a beautiful experience.During the game drive, we were lucky to see the three great categories of animals that is the lioness, the hyena and the leopard.Great thanks to Silas, he knew all the corners and great spots and he made our tour easy and fulfilling. He's such a typical friendly Ugandan.

The whole trip was such an amazing experience. Right from where we slept,(Fort Murchison lodges) were amazing. To the game drive in the Murchison Falls park, Cyrus made sure we see all the animals. Then we went to the boat cruise for a closer look at the hippopotamus and crocodiles. And finally going on top of the Murchison Falls, just amazing. Thank you Cyrus for the Fabulous time.

This was my first trip to Murchison Falls and was so mind blowing especially with the wild life and the spectacular roar of Murchison falls! Silas was such a great and knowledgeable guide who took me through journey smoothly and made sure we spotted lots of wildlife unfortunately the weather didn't turn out well for me to do the Hot air balloon but all in all the trip was a memorable and breathtaking. Thank you Village of Lakes Safaris and Silas the perfect guide.
