  The Mubarak bivouac is simply the place to go in the Moroccan sahara and which reflects wonderfully the authenticity of the desert!   Last month, we had the chance to experience an extraordinary trip to southern Morocco, organized by Sahara Peace. An experience off the beaten track, rich in emotions, discoveries and encounters. Every step of the way gave us breathtaking scenery – hidden valleys, steep mountains, peaceful oases, and of course, the majestic desert. The natural diversity of this region is simply incredible, and every day we were immersed in a completely different setting. Beyond the beauty of the place, it is the thousand-year history and cultural richness of the country that have deeply marked us. Thanks to Sahara Peace, we were able to discover remote villages, preserve traditions, and share heartfelt moments with residents of unparalleled generosity and hospitality. We leave with our hearts full of unforgettable memories. Many thanks to the Sahara Peace team and our driver/guide Jamal.   I want to thank this gentleman and his family and friends. Who have helped us at all times after a problem outside them, without any need have offered us their house and their help. I, along with a group of friends we were scammed by someone else and this family was in charge of helping us and reaching out, Morocco is a nice country per person like them, Thank you and a thousand times Thank you.   We had the chance to live an unforgettable itinerant trip to Morocco with our family thanks to Mubarak, our exceptional driver-guide. From our pick-up in Agadir to Ouarzazate and the magical exploration of the desert in 4x4, everything has been designed to make our experience fluid, serene and deeply authentic. Mubarak found the perfect balance: present when needed, while remaining discreet to let us fully enjoy every moment with our family. His particularly careful driving — especially with our young children — allowed us to travel confidently, even on desert trails, without feeling too much shaking. No stress on schedules, always great flexibility for breaks and downtime: we felt that this trip was thought at our own pace, with great attention. The itinerary he had chosen was wonderfully well designed: a succession of breathtaking landscapes, between mountains, valleys, kasbahs and golden dunes, that will remain etched in our memories. Beyond his great professionalism, Mubarak perfectly embodies the spirit of Sahara Peace: a sincere welcome, a respectful approach, and a deep knowledge of Morocco that he shares with generosity. Thank you to him and the whole Sahara Peace team for this wonderful break. We will return without hesitation, whether as a family, for a yoga retreat, or for a silent walk in the desert!   Thanks to Mubarak who came to pick us up in Ouarzazate for this adventure to the desert. I wanted to offer my group a simple and authentic adventure. It was perfect ! Mubarak's bivouac already has a lot of charm, but the highlight of the show was the wild bivouac with Ayoub and Hami. The sky was so beautiful, we all slept under the stars in the shelter of the dunes. Bravo for the organization, for the care, for the welcome... Thank you for this experience, we would have liked it to last longer to explore even further! See you soon !

  Incredible experience, timeless, in a magical and memorable place. The cabins are spacious, warm and very well maintained. Mubarak is an exceptional host as is his entire team. The camp site is located near Tagounite (240km from ourzazate). We went to join him in the village and he guided us to camp. There he offered us various expeditions and we chose to go to the Ghegaga desert to sleep one night. It was amazing, we recommend it without exception. You are looking for a quiet place, with locals, far from tourists and safe, this is the perfect place.

  Sahara Peace provided me with an incredibly unique experience of rural Morocco that I will forever have fond memories of. My guide Lhassan made me feel comfortable and welcomed as a solo traveler. Lhassan was an expert driver, and the route was a loop, so I didn’t see the same thing twice. The camps were clean and peaceful. As an American, I have limited exposure to other other languages, so I appreciated Pascale and Lhassan speaking with me in English. Also consider Sahara Peace’s other offerings like their multi-day camping caravan by camel. It looks like an absolutely magical journey. This tour is definitely an upgrade from the standard group tours to Erg Chebibi from Marrakesh.

  An unforgettable experience, I highly recommend it. The view of the desert from the highest dune is breathtaking. We ate very well and the welcome was impeccable.
