Karatay Han
After picking you up from your hotel or Cappadocia airport, we will embark on a journey to Mesopotamia via the historic 'Silk Road.' About 90 minutes later, we will visit the Karatay Han Caravanserai, one of the most significant caravanserais of the Seljuk Turks civilization. Built in the 13th century, this ancient structure remained in use until the 1970s!
Pinarbasi
Will stop at Pinarbasi Village for lunch located at the Taurus Mountains, affording us the opportunity to observe the countryside and everyday life of rural Turkey.
Kahramanmaras
On the way to Mesopotamia, we will stop in Kahramanmaraş province for a lifetime experience — tasting the best handmade ice cream in Turkey, made from goat milk.
Adiyaman
Adıyaman, a town located near Nemrut Mountain, is the best place to stay in the region. We will check-in to our hotel and stay overnight in Adıyaman. During the summer season, due to the longer daylight hours, we will first visit Nemrut Mountain to enjoy the sunset from its summit, then return to the hotel for the night.

Mount Nemrut
We depart from your hotel early in the morning for an unforgettable journey to Mount Nemrut. Upon arrival, we will disembark and take a short 20-minute walk to the summit. At the top, we’ll witness the breathtaking sunrise among the colossal statues and heads of ancient kings and gods. Mount Nemrut, a UNESCO World Cultural and Historical Heritage site since 2015, offers one of the most awe-inspiring views in the world.
Arsemia Antik Kenti
Visit the summer capital of the Commagene Kingdom, where many important religious ceremonies and celebrations were held. At this historic site, you'll see the famous relief stele depicting the 'Handshake of Antiochos and Heracles.
Cendere Bridge
Cendere Bridge, also known as the 'Septimius Severus Bridge,' was constructed by the Roman Emperor Lucius Septimius Severus between A.D. 193 and 211, spanning the Cendere Stream.
Karakus Tumulusu
A monumental tomb where members of the Royal Family were buried, the Tumulus is often referred to as the 'Pyramid of Anatolia and Mesopotamia.
Ataturk Dam
The dam, built in honor of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, was completed in 1992. It serves both agricultural irrigation and electricity production purposes. This is the largest dam constructed on the Euphrates River! You will also enjoy lunch at the scenic promenade of the dam.

Gobeklitepe
The first temple in human history! Until the remains discovered in the 2008 excavations, historians and archaeologists had differing opinions. However, it was revealed that temples were built first, followed by the establishment of settlements around them. The earliest monuments date back to 9600 B.C., nearly 11,600 years ago!
Harran
The ancient city, founded around 3000 B.C., is where the Sun, Moon, and Stars were first revered as sacred. This city is mentioned in the Torah (Old Testament) as being founded by the grandson of the prophet Noah. It is also home to the first university in human history and the first professional astrological studies. The clay houses of the rural town of Harran were designed to provide cool shelter in the region's extremely hot climate.
Zeugma Mosaic Museum
The museum takes its name from the ancient city of Zeugma, one of the four largest cities of the ancient Commagene Kingdom. It is one of the largest mosaic museums in the world, both in terms of building size and the vast area covered by mosaics. The world-famous 'Mosaic of the Gypsy Girl' is also on display here! Visitors can explore examples of late antique churches, early Syriac and Christian iconography, as well as sculptures, columns, and fountains from the Roman period.
Cappadocia
At the end of the day, around 21:30–22:00, we will return to Cappadocia. We can drop you off at your hotel in Cappadocia or at Kayseri Airport. If you prefer not to return to Cappadocia and wish to save time, we can assist you in arranging a flight to Istanbul, Ephesus, or other destinations and drop you off at Gaziantep Airport as well!
