Abu Simbel
At 4:00 am you will leave your hotel to go to Abu Simbel to visit the location of the most famous temples (The Great and Small temples) of King Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. The most spectacular aspect of this temple is its setting in the solid rock above the banks of the Nile River. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that on October 22 and February 22, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall, except for the statue of Ptah, the god connected with the Underworld, who always remained in the dark. These dates are allegedly the king's birthday and coronation day. Then going back to Aswan around 1 pm

Our family group ranged from age 10 to 70. The tour accommodated everyone. The van was spacious. The visit to the Unfinished Obelisk sparked the kids imagination. Abu simbel was humbling for the adults. The guide was patient with all our questions. Short story my father sat on a bench at Kom Ombo and a local cat joined him. They sat together for ten minutes in silence. A simple moment. The experience was inclusive. The admission fees for all ages were clear. The three day length kept everyone engaged. The atmosphere was comfortable and educational. The crowd size was managed well. The staff were kind and attentive. This is best for multi generational families.

We booked this trip last minute and it was the best decision. Our guide was so knowledgeable he made the stones speak. The journey from Marsa alam was long but the van was comfortable. At Abu simbel I just stood there staring. It is impossible to describe the scale. The short story is during the sound and light show at Philae Temple a bat flew right past my head. Everyone jumped but we laughed so hard after. The trip was perfectly paced. The admission fees for all sites were included which was a relief. We spent about two hours at each major site. The atmosphere in Aswan is so laid back by the Nile. The crowd size was moderate not too packed. The staff from the driver to the guide were professional and friendly. This is best for friends or couples who want a deep dive into history without the hassle.

The best thing about the Tour was our two riders Ashraf and Rezq, next time only with the two of them again. They showed us a lot even without a guide

With Hany as our guide, the tour was a complete success. The temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari are architectural masterpieces to be seen. Hany told the story of these places with enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge, which made the journey even more exciting. The organization was perfect, and the view while driving was breathtaking.
