Every individual driver must 25 years old in order to partake as the main driver of one of the vehicles. You are also required to present a valid drivers license on the day of the excursion.
An experience not like any other. Great staff, Great Energy & even better experience. A cooler full of water is provided in order to stay hydrated during your tour, a stop to The New Duff is included where you'll be able to sample a local Bahamian desert known as 'guava duff'.
With the Jeep's having bluetooth & radio players, this allows a safe controlled environment while adding your own personal touch.
Communication tends to be key, so every participant is given a headset which allows each guide the ability to speak with customers throughout the tour.
Cancellation Policy:
Full refund due to weather otherwise if cancelled within 24 hours of the rental, there will be no refund.

What To Expect
Queen's Staircase
Once the tour has begun we will go ahead & visit the queen's staircase also known as the 66 steps. The time spent at the sight will be based on the duration of the tour itself.
John Watling's Distillery
Visiting the John Watling Distillery is a great experience. Getting to learn about the history of Caribbean Rum in the Bahamas & even get the chance to take a souvenir or two.

5.00Had a great time on this tour. The buggie was clean and worked perfectly. Our guide (Jason?) was fantastic, he did a great job of showing us the landmarks and created a personalized experience for my family. The cave experience alone was well worth it!

5.00What a great find! My wife and I were searching for an excursion while in Nassau and came across this opportunity through Virgo’s. I received the privilege of driving our vehicle which was fantastic and my wife enjoyed the wine, spirits, foods, and treats that Nassau has to offer! Our guide, Manny, was personable, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and just a blast to be around for the morning. Before being dropped off back at the port, we were already talking about doing another tour with Virgo’s!

2.00It sounded fun, but Jason, our tour person, seemed very disinterested in being there. Was always checking his phone, drove very fast in many locations too. We stopped for ONE dessert and he wasn't very clear as to what was happening here. He said he was buying us a treat, and that we could order anything. Then we find out that wasn't quite correct. He, or the company, was buying us each one duff (which was delicious), but he also lead us to believe that we could order food and drink as well. We were only to get the duff, and anything else we wanted we were to pay for. Just needs to make that clear as it was not handled well at the restaurant. Also, the water they provide wasn't offered....we just took it from the cooler....that had no ice, so it was very warm. The stops they go to are great. Good locations. Cigar factory and rum factory were excellent. Fun to drive the dune buggy and see around the island too. Maybe more interest and enthusiasm would be nice. Cold water too. Just a few tweaks and this could be a good tour.

5.00My husband and I booked a 3-hour tour with Virgo in a buggy and it was such a great way to see the highlights of Nassau! We started our trip by getting picked up at the cruise ship port in a shuttle. The pick up spot was easy to find (right off the port and clearly labeled after getting through a gate) and the ride to their office was just a few minutes. Our buggy was clean and had a Bluetooth stereo that we could play our music from which made driving around so much more fun. Our guide was great and it was a relaxing way to travel around town since we followed him on his vehicle and didn’t have to worry about getting directions ourselves or figuring out the rules of traffic with cars driving on the opposite side. We started the tour stopping at the Queen’s staircase which led to lots of historical information, a few stories, and lots of photo opportunities. We then went to the chocolate factory/cigar factory/winery all located in a fun and colorful area with lots of samples. We made a stop at John Watling’s distillery and had enough time to explore and join their free tour which included pinã colada samples made with their rum. We also made stops at the New Duff to try a local guava duff (delicious!) and tea. We drove on to a nearby beach which was great to see the bright-blue ocean and take a few pictures and then our final stop at the rum cake factory. So many samples to try at all stops on the tour and great information provided by the employees of all the local businesses! All in all, this is a don’t-miss tour! Our guide was friendly and funny and it’s a great way to get a taste (literally) of the local products and history of the Bahamas.
