We visited St. Maarten in December (2025) as a family group of seven while on a cruise. Getting to the meeting point was a breeze. We walked from the cruise port to a clearly marked tent area where we met the shuttle. The van was clean and, most importantly, had air conditioning. Our guide, Chris, was amazing! His energy and local knowledge made the experience so much better. We toured both the French and Dutch sides of the island, stopping at several beaches along the way with stunning, bright blue water. Be prepared for heavy traffic near PJIA and Maho Beach. Seeing planes land at Maho was cool, but the beach itself is very crowded and not ideal for relaxing - worth a quick visit, though if it interests you. We ended our tour at the Blue Bubbles beach area. They had umbrellas, chaises, and water activities like jet ski rentals. The beach was nice, and there was a bar and local food available — I highly recommend trying the oxtail! When it was time to head back, the shuttle returned us to the port without any hassle. Tips for your Trip: Swimsuits & Towels: You’ll want to jump in at several stops. Water Shoes: These are helpful for some of the more natural beach stops Overall, this was a great way to see the island in a short amount of time. Chris and the Blue Bubbles team made it easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was a great excursion for us visiting on a cruise ship. You get a shuttle near the cruise pier (you have to walk towards the back and find a little parking lot, but if you ask the tourist information desk when you first get off the ship they'll tell you where to go). The shuttle is $10 per person round trip to where the Jeeps and ATVs are. The same company also does ATV tours. We opted for the Jeep tour driven by a guide. Our guide, Chris, was great - - taking his time to explain to us all kinds of facts about St Martin and pointing out all kinds of interesting things on the way. He answered all of our questions, and if there was something interesting to see he would pull the Jeep over to let us take pictures. We stopped even to take some pictures of iguanas on the side of the road. Afterwards you get to go to a beach where you have complimentary beach chairs and umbrella, and a glass of rum punch. They even have snorkeling equipment and jet skis at the beach! I think you have to pay extra for the jet skis though. In any case, the beach is much quieter and much more peaceful than the beach that's closer to the cruise ship, even though this is close enough that you can see the cruise ship. Overall this was a great excursion and a great value.

It was a great way to see and learn about both sides of the island. Chris was a wonderful tour guide and answered our non-stop questions. My kids, 8 & 11, also loved it. Ending the tour on the beach was a lovely way to spend the afternoon and Lenny took great care of us. The shuttle service to and from the port through the company was reasonably priced and well worth it. I highly recommend this tour.

When I first read about the Jeep tour I was very apprehensive, but when I met Chris his energy was just so magnetic. He was very informative, charismatic and friendly. I learned so much from Chris about the island and the culture. I would hands down do this tour again with Chris at the helm. Amazing experience!

We had a great time, our tour guide drove one jeep with part of our group in it and the rest of the group on the second jeep. Jeeps fit 5 people so make sure you book enough jeeps!! It was basically a drive around the island of St Maarten with the tour guide giving us information with a walkie Talkie. We didn’t off road at all!! We stopped at a place where you can walk out into the water AB’s it comes up to your ankles and looks like you are walking on water- if you want to do this have water shoes because there is corral. It was a great day but took about 4-5 hours not the 2-3 they advertised, plan accordingly!!
