National Theater
This is where the walk begins. Here, you'll not only hear about the history of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic, but also learn which regions make up the country and discover the main historical districts of Prague. Before you set off on the route, you’ll also hear a bit about the iconic National Theatre building and its modern counterpart, the New Stage.
Kampa Park
Kampa is one of the most charming and peaceful corners of Prague, nestled between the Vltava River and the historical Lesser Town. Here, you’ll also spot the famous giant baby sculptures by Czech artist David Černý—both strange and unforgettable!

She tailored the tour to our interests, shared local insights that we would never have discovered on our own, and brought the city’s past to life through engaging stories and thoughtful stops. 5.00It was a rainy night in Prague, so we had the streets virtually to ourselves. Our guide, Eva, was excellent. We had a hard time finding the meeting point, but she actually found us! Quite a bit of up and down, but we learned a lot about this beautiful city and its history. So glad we did the night tour, as these areas were packed the next day. Highly recommended!

5.00The “Prague by Night City Tour” hosted by “Prague Local-Friends” was absolutely fantastic! Kevin, the proprietor of this easy to work with and highly professional company, did not have a group set-up for the time and date that I needed to have, in order to fit it into my schedule and because this tour was so highly recommended and popular, I really wanted to squeeze it into my trip to Prague. As a result, he (Kevin) went out of his way to accommodate me and arranged to provide it, even in the event that I could be the only one on the tour. To my great fortune, I was!! Now…Eva! I was extremely lucky to meet Eva and have her as my own personal tour guide! Score! Eva was absolutely fantastic! So knowledgeable about all things Prague and an Architectural Historian (Masters/PhD) as well! She was so attentive and wanted to share her extensive knowledge of her beloved city with me! As an avid hiker and not shy of walking (or energy), Eva took this “old man” from one end of her city to the next, always pausing or checking to see if I was comfortable, or if she was providing enough or too much information. I felt like I was given a tour based upon the “Goldilocks” principle! Everything was “just right!” I want to express a HUGE Thank You to my wonderful guide Eva and to Kevin for putting it all together and making it happen for me! It’s a very popular tour and I lucked out. Twice! 👍🏼 Btw, you think Prague is gorgeous by day…wait until Eva or one of her colleagues shows it to you by night! Stunning! 5.00We had a fabulous tour of Prague with Christian. His knowledge of the city, its history, its culture, and its architecture was impressive. He was relatable, accommodating and, most of all, fun! We ended the night overlooking the city with a stunning view of the lights. Highly recommend this tour. You will be especially fortunate if you get to spend a few hours with Christian. Five stars all the way!
