We were picked up at the hotel, a bit windy to sit in the back but it worked. First stop shark bay, smooth with shoes and guide that came out to the sharks. Cost 1200 for 4 pers. Our guide Rosalino was very nice, went the extra mile. Next stop Salinas, salt mine. Awesome cool to float. It was easily worth 6euros per person. The guide Rosalino took many good pictures. A moderate tour of 3 hours. Tip, bring your own water to rinse yourself off after bathing. Available shower for one euro.

Great excursion! I was picked up from the hotel on time by the friendly driver/guide. We drove to shark bay where you meet the shark guide. You must hire crocs from the hut for 2 euros, cash only, to protect your feet and toes, because you wade out into the sea to see the lemon sharks. It was an amazing experience to have the baby lemon sharks swimming around and in-between your legs! You only wade out to about knee height, and only the babies can come into water that shallow, but they're still about a meter ling. You can see the larger shark fins a little further out so you're instructed to not go any further or put your hands in the water. We then got back in the truck and drove to Pedra de Lume. The cost of admission to Pedra de Lume is not included in the excursion, and it was about 7 euros when I went. We walked down into the volcanic crater and you can swim in the salt water. You're advised to not get any of the water in your eyes or mouth, and you should take off your smart watch if you have one. This excursion is definitely not for people with mobility issues. It wasn't easy wading over the rocks at shark bay, and it was quite a hill walk up and down into Pedra de Lume. All in all I thought this was a great excursion with friendly staff.

Really enjoyed the shark bay experience and guide was very good however customers need to be aware that the €3 per person is not for the shoes but for going in the water with the sharks. We had our own shoes but were still charged the €3. Salt mine was good too plenty of time to swim and then get changed and get refreshments at the cafe.

This was the ideal trip for us with spot travel tours, 3 hours, turned out it was just the two of us, guide was amazing, parked with lemon sharks which was a wonderful experience then floated in a salt lake in an extinct volcano crater, just incredible. You need €2 each for the sharks but they give you thick crocs for walking on the rocks and €6 each for entry to the salt flats. Guide was really Ritchie, absolutely no rush, didn't try to take us anywhere else and dropped us off in Santa Maria after as our request. 100% recommend

I don't recommend it at all. They didn't come to pick us up at the hotel, they tried to charge us €25 for a 6-month-old baby and despite salt experience telling us that they would return the money, Civitatis currently refuses to return €62. It's embarrassing. If you travel to the island take the excursions with TUI: they are worth the same , they are more formal and do not usually con you as in this case. If you think it's a mistaken opinion you just have to read similar cases on google (people who don't get picked up and don't get their money back) Don't waste your time or your money ALWAYS TUI

Trip lasted 90 mins in total. 15 mins at lemon sharks which was quite entertaining and interesting then 15 mins at crater/salt lake. nice view opted to skip the dip in salty water as experienced that at the dead see and couldn’t be bothered to pay extra for the faff of changing and showering in the busy changing rooms. Pick up point we were given at the hotel was wrong so we were late for the driver who mildly told us off .

It was amazing!!! I think that those who come to Cape Verde and the island of salt can not go Ender, although on the other hand, there should not be much tourism for the sake of animal life
