What To Expect

We rip lips from the shoreline! Fly fishing and or spinning reels are used. We will provide waders and rain gear, poles and all tackle needed. Water and snacks are supplied. Fishing license is included in the cost of the tour.

Great easy fishing excursion. Great for all levels of experience, though definitely designed for beginners. I came in with a small background in freshwater fly fishing, and Jake was able to get me started on the basics of fly fishing in saltwater. Caught my first salmon on fly and couldn't have had a better time.

We enjoyed our fishing experience with Jack. He provided everything that we needed for gear and waders. Location for pickup was easy to find and a short walk from our ship. Fishing location was not far away as he found us a place on shore. It was not long and we were ready to fish. Note, that the license is included with the price and is done before you fish. This was a nice convenience. It was nice to fish in a small group, and after a short "heres what you do" Jack had us fishing. The experience is a true fishing experience, casting, reeling it in and such. Jack was there and available to remove the fish off the hooks and net the fish if needed. My wife and I would do this experience again.

Great experience! The guide did a great job of instructing and assisting with technique. We had a change of schedule after booking and the team was so accommodating and helpful.

What a fun time! I had no real fishing experience but Gabe explained everything and was amazing and knowledgeable. He even hooked a fish and handed me his rod to try to reel it in. The line broke and I never actually caught anything but the experience was amazing! Other in our group did catch fish! Having no fishing experience didn’t matter, still had the most wonderful time ever!

Great experience fishing in Juneau! This was such a memorable excursion. My husband loves fishing and I had never fished before and this trip was perfect for both of us. It was a great chance for me to learn something new and for us to enjoy the stunning Alaskan outdoors together. The scenery was incredible, the water was calm, and our guide made the whole experience fun and approachable. Highly recommend for couples or families looking to connect with nature and each other!
