What To Expect
If you ever wish to escape the busy city life for a day and experience something really exciting, then this package is just the thing for you. It lets you explore the Lake Victoria Peninsular, learn about the lives of the people living there, enjoy the lush green views, and feel the refreshing breezes from the lake, all while riding your bike in comfort. Our adventure begins at 8:00 am from the Beach House Gardens in Ggaba (close to Kampala University). We’ll cross the lake on a local boat to reach the Buule landing site. The truly exciting part starts here, where, for the next 3-4 hours, we’ll cover about 20-25 kilometers, following narrow dirt roads, and discovering the stunning beauty of the Lake Victoria Peninsular. There will be plenty of chances along the way to rest, have a snack, or take a selfie – all while enjoying the amazing views of the lake.

5.00The tour was so nice! We asked for a tailored experience because my friend wanted to learn to ride a bike and they organized it for us. The price was fair and we got everything that they promised. The length of the activity was good and they also kept time. Our guide, Ronald, was so nice and patient. He accommodated to our needs. The route was safe, not crowded and beautiful. Really recommend it!

4.00The trip was very nice! It fits perfectly with rolex and a cold soda when we were just over halfway. The guide was not so talkative, so I missed getting a little more information about the tour, the area and tradition/culture. But, for my part, it still suited me well as I am not so extrovert myself, and I had enough to handle the terrain and enjoy nature around at the same time 😅 but will think others might want more dialogue

5.00Rented a bike from these guys and it didn't disappoint at all as I did a solo mountain bike ride which was amazing. The bike was good with hydraulic brakes as well as a 1x11 speed gear which helped me go over many hills. Cheers

5.00I really enjoyed my bike ride! It was great that Mandela could tailor the route to go easy on me as I didnt mind a long distance but I didnt want too many hills after a long work week...his knowledge to give me the best possible experience according to my preferences I really appreciated. Also, I must admit that before it ever started, I actually slept in that morning and was over an hour late which I felt absolutely terrible about. However they were very calm and understanding. Mandela waited so patiently for me to arrive and he was very pleasant and friendly throughout the day. Thank you Mandela, again sorry!! I would highly recommend this tour and would happily book from them again when I come back.

5.00The 3-hr bike tour was a highlight of our trip to Uganda. Our guide Michael was excellent, and the terrain, views, and communities we saw were captivating. The boat commute across the lake was a perfect way to start and finish the ride. Loved stopping for a Rolex to interact with the locals. The bikes were functional with minor maintenance items (mine had a cracked/wobby pedal and the handlebar grips were loose). Highly recommended as a way to get some physical activity while engaging with the people and environment.

5.00Beautiful excursion with boat trip across Murchinson Bay to the opposite peninsula. This seems to be the most direct route for their inhabitants to Kampala. We saw beautiful tropical landscapes and got to know the “real” Uganda. Friendly and nice people who cultivate their land in the midst of the tropics and plant everything that the fertile soil gives. Great guide who always stood by my girlfriend, who hasn't ridden a bike for years and helped. A really great experience and so close to Kampala.
