Definitely an adventure. The kayaking portion was great bit a little bit slow. For the price we paid we were surprised to just be attached to a group that had never kayaked and proceeded to spend a lot of time waiting around rather than kayaking. The second bit - lunch was amazing 👏 Final bit - biking in the countryside and to the fairy caves was cool but the mountain biking was horrendous, it was explained as gravel and a jungle track that novices do. We both mountain bike at home and we can tell you this is an advanced blue to black grade of difficulty on sharp, loose and slippery rocks, dense mud that is impossible to ride through and low shrubs and bushes that cover the path amd cut up your legs- pleased not to encounter snakes. We actually walked huge sections of it and even though the guide was nice he should have re routed us as soon as we said that this was not the terrain we expected as we were only a few minutes in to that portion. The bikes are very basic hard tails with little to no suspension and poor gearing making it very challenging to adjust to mountain bike. Overall we would do the kayaking again but only as a private tour and wouldn't bother with the mountain biking as it was very unknowable.

What a wonderful experience! Together with our two guides, Dee and Kelvin, we did the 5D4N bike, hike and kayak-adventure. The organisation was perfect, the assistance fantastic. Dee and Kelvin supported us during all difficult and easy moments, they were very careful and helpful. They were fine company and had a lot of fun. We slept in a longhouse, a magnificent homestay at the lake and a Buddhist center which all was marvelous. We surely would recommend Paradesa, the trip and of course our guides!

very active day with lots of action. we went kayaking first because the river had very little water. it was safe and fun with i their guide Carl. paddling in nature is just great. at the first break, Carl immediately discovered a mini snake. Great. after a meal we went cycling with Estee and Calvin. first on the road it was rather boring, but with fantastic views of the limestone mountains. the fairy cave was a highlight. steeply up one is rewarded with a breathtaking view in a huge interior. back then finally the offroad part, which has it all. it's just bumpy through the rock, so it's more demanding than you know it from Europe. but i so much more fun. if you don't manage to do everything, push something, everyone makes it. also these guides were great overall great experience.

A fantastic experience from the minute I booked the tour to the end. What I liked a lot. 1. I was sent a reminder 2 days prior to the tour and the tour guide got in touch with me a day before to brief me on the requirements, to check the exact location of my accommodation and to ensure that. I had someone direct to talk to if I needed some clarification. 2. The pick-up was exactly on time, which I really appreciated as we were ready and didn't want to wait. 3. We had very friendly and caring guides through the kayaking experience, who made our first kayak experience memorable. From the stop off at the waterfall to giving instructions while on the kayak, they were helpful and ensured we got extra value for money throughout the whole experience, The feeding of fish directly from your hands was unbelievable. 4. The cycling and cave guide took us to a fantastic place for an exceptional lunch, with dishes we wouldn't have ordered as they were new to us. He offered us bottles of water and was very caring about our needs. He didn't rush us and gave us plenty of time to change and use the restrooms. He gave us a fantastic tour of the fairy cave and was open to answering any questions we had. The jungle cycling leg was one of the biggest adventures of our lives, as we pushed our cycles up the rocky terrain in an absolute downpour, and the guide got off the bike and pushed his bike to not leave us alone. He did not leave our site for a second and helped, supported and was patient with us through the whole trip. He kept checking while in front if we were behind him and immediately stopped, in the pouring rain, if we weren't. We managed to finish the ride with him and were able to because of his unbelievable patience and gamesmanship when we felt we were all part of one team, and no one left anyone behind. We were dropped off and the guide also gave us more time to change out of our absolutely soaked clothes and have something warm, not pushing us to finish as he had to go. A true professional in every regard. I absolutely very highly recommend the agency for ensuring that you go through an adventure, even if you haven't ever done something like that before, and making you feel safe and very looked after through the whole experience. If in Borneo, go for this amazing adventure ( hopefully you get the pouring rain in the middle of a dense forest, while going uphill/downhill on a mountain bike too..)

Paradesa Borneo put together an unforgettable combination of high adventure. I am a road cyclist with some MTB skills. Our group included a novice Australian couple and pro MTB rider. Everyone had a great time going between the jungle single-track, a cave filled with bats, and abandoned gold mine, and stream crossings. Our guide Francis made sure everyone had fun and was challenged but never overwhelmed. The kayak leg was cancelled because of rainy season flooding so PB immediately refunded that part of the trip. Very professional! That morning it was raining hard in Kuching and I almost skipped this trip. I'm so glad I didn't as we never saw a drop of rain in the countryside. If you have them, bring Teva sandals. I wore bike shorts and wish I had a bike jersey for the extra pockets. A little pack works too.
