We really enjoyed our mail run boat trip in the Sounds. There were three of us, and it was a lovely way to spend a few hours taking in the scenery. The commentary was clear and easy to follow, giving a nice bit of insight without being overwhelming. The complimentary tea and coffee were a thoughtful touch and added to the relaxed feel of the trip. At around three and a half hours, it felt like a good length, and overall it was a calm, enjoyable experience and a great way to see the Sounds. It is a little on the pricey side for what it is, but still a worthwhile experience if you’re looking for a laid-back way to explore the area.

Fun way to see the sound! Went into a lot of the inlets. Water was stunning! Even stopped to see wildlife along the way.

The boat's main goal is transporting people and mail from point to point, so it was going too fast and loudly for any wildlife to approach. Sitting outside also made it impossible to hear the Skipper. While the first hour was genuinely scenic and enjoyable, the overall experience felt underwhelming. Similar to other reviewers, I wouldn't classify this as a cruise.

Boat cruise stopping at specific docks where unique resorts are located and certain wildlife. Some passengers get on and off. Beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed visiting all the resorts and villages around the sound. The commentary by the captain was also helpful

What a great trip. A bit rough due to a low in the straight but the boat was big enough to handle the swell. Good Captain and decky, most knowledgeable and helpful. Saw some beautiful coastline and inlets. Lots of birdlife but to rough for wildlife. Would recommend as an activity in beautiful Picton.

Good fun even on a misty drizzly day. Good commentary and views as you whizz around the Charlotte Sound,
