Perfect itinerary for us. Enjoyed amazing views, comfortable rides, relaxed guide and driver. We started in the middle of the night for the Bromo excursion. The jeep ride was a nice experience, the view was amazing, the hike was accessible and not too intense. After that we drove to our first hotel. We relaxed at the pool, had a large space for ourselves to recharge, and had a lot of free time. The second day we drove to Sumpak Tewu waterfall. This was a little more challenging but a lot of fun. Amazing views in the canyon and fun place to explore. After that we went to the hotel closer to Ijen. This hotel was again very clean and we used our stay here to sleep as much as possible before we left to mount Ijen in the night. Ijen was very crowded, but it helped that we started hiking early. This day was the most challenging, but the views were again amazing. Unfortunately we couldn’t see the natural blue flames, but there was a showcase of how the sulfur burns and we were happy to experience this still. Our drives and guide dropped us off at the ferry terminal before we continued our journey. All in all, this trip was worth it. A relaxed and fun guide, a helpful and good driver, nice accommodations. It took all stress away from us and all we had to do was enjoy the trip. Would recommend this to everyone.

The tour was really well organized. What made the tour really special was the driver and our guide, Kawid. He made sure that everything was running smoothly and that we were always happy. We had great conversations and learnt a lot of interesting things. At the time there was a lot of crowds but Kawid made sure that it was still enjoyable for us.

Our experienced guide, Yung, took excellent care of us throughout the entire trip. He patiently guided us every step of the way and captured many wonderful photos for us along the journey. The restaurants that they brought us for lunch were great too. There was a time when our mini van had a flat tire and Yung together with our driver managed to replace the flat tire by themselves. Yung also shared detailed and insightful explanations about the three volcanoes, the blue fire phenomenon, and how it is formed, making the experience both educational and memorable. Yung was thoughtful, attentive, and very informative throughout. We truly had an amazing trip and absolutely loved both Ijen and Bromo! Thanks Tripperhood!

We had a fantastic trip with Guide Ririn and driver Dian! Ririn knew a lot about the places and tailored it to our interests. We got to laugh with her! Dian took us safely everywhere no matter the time. We like that he could also understand some English and was extremely helpful! They made our trip together unforgettable! Accommodations were a bit remote and could have been cleaner but because you are there very little and the food at both hotels was very good it is fine.

What an amazing tour we had with our guide Ashar and our driver Chandra! The trip was wonderful and Ashar knew all of the best spots during the hikes. He could answer all our questions and we had deep conversations about both our culture, which was so interesting. At all spots we had enough time to enjoy the views and to take beautiful pictures (by our guide). Ashar and Chandra were extremely friendly and helpful for us all the time and we felt very safe and comfortable. I would recommend this tour to everyone, but do not forget to take good shoes with you.
