Ha Giang - Tam Son - Dong Van ( 135km ) - 8:30am pick up from your hotel in Ha Giang city. - 9am starting the tour from our office. - 10am; we wil get into the Dong Van Global Karst Plateau Geopark, stop at the top of the Bac Sum pas the first pass leading to the Heaven Gate, - 11 get to the top of the Quan Ba Heaven Gate, get a break coffee with the great view to the mountains. -11:30-1:30pm; ahead to Yen Minh Town, on the way you will see the different changing from the lanscape when you get higher -1:30pm; get to Yen Minh it's a small town, get some lunch break in town. - 2:30pm-4pm: after lunch get in the Car again ahead to Sa Phin village where you will have chance to visit the Hmong King Palace -4:30pm : get on the road again and enjoy the lanscape until Dong Van town. - 5;00pm check in the hotel and free walk around the Dong Van ancient town - 7pm enjoy some local food and overnight in the town.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng pass - Du Gia village (90km) - 8:30am: get breakfast in the town with the moutains views (will have chance to visit the bigest local market in Dong Van if you come on Sunday) - 9:00am: get on the road ahead to the beautiful pass called Ma-pi-leng pass top one of the four most beautiful pass of Vietnam - 10:30am: get a short hiking on the Sky pass, where you can also have the view to the chinese mountains, - 12:00: stop on top the Ma Pi Leng pass where you can see Nho Que river, Tu San canyon which is the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. - 1:15pm: get the lunch break in Meo Vac town - 2:30pm - 5pm: get in the car again to get to Du Gia village, on the way to will stop at Sa Li pass where you can see the Dao village and rice tarraces from the top - 5pm: get to the village checkin in the homestay of the Tay people, enjoy family dinner with the family fall as sleep with some happy weter. :)

Du Gia village - Ha Giang city (120km) - 8:30am have breakfast wiht the view to the rice fields - 9:00-10:30am get on the road again to get back to Ha Giang, on the way will go through some villages of the Hmong people - 11:30am arrive to Lung Tam village, will visit the place where you can learn how the Hmong people doing the Hemp weaving - 1:30 get lunch break in Tam Son town . - 2:30 - 4;30pm 45km driving back to Ha Giang city, get to the city viewpoint where you can have the panoramic view to the city ( get the last bear after the tour wiht our team) - 5:30pm: finish the tour at your hotel.

5.00Opi drove us around for three days in a comfortable car thru the breathtaking landscape and villages. He knows all about the area since he grew up there, he is an experienced driver en guide, relaxed and always a smile on his face. The meals and overnight stays were what we were looking for, he has a good sense for what the client prefers. We had interesting talks about his and our culture and country. Very good value for money! Andro

5.00The Ha Giang Loop is a bucket list experience but not everyone wants to be on the back of a motorcycle. We went by car with Opi Adventures and loved every minute of it. As advertised our driver and guide spoke excellent English and helped us understand the local cultural dynamics as well as the amazing scenery. The vehicle was comfortable and we could choose our own music which was nice. Every stop was wonderful including the food stops! We loved the food and the amazing tea and coffee served all around the loop. The hotel on night one was very good as was the homestay on night two (a wonderful family experience we will treasure for life). We had private rooms. From hotel collection to drop off (our driver waited for us to check in then took us to the best restaurant bar in town via an ATM, which was not expected but much appreciated) we had the best time. Highly recommended, highly professional, friendly, fun and kind company.

5.00We did a 4 day/3 night Ha Giang loop trip by car in early September. Our driver/guide was Bon who we'd recommend without hesitation as an excellent driver and guide. We always felt safe and remarkably, no one had travel sickness despite the winding, mountain roads. The scenery was absolutely spectacular and stopping at places where we could see local people working (weaving hemp, harvesting rice and drying green tea) really added to the experience. Early September worked out really well because the rice fields were bright green (or golden) and it was interesting to see the rice being harvested. We had 2 nights in our own private room in homestay accommodation, which was fun and each time the host and hostess were lovely. One night was in an hotel. Opi travel organised transport to and from Hanoi which made it very easy. We had the option of going by a big bus with fully reclined seats or mini bus. We took the big bus one way and it was comfortable and very clean. Prior to going on the trip Opi Travel patiently answered my many questions by email.

5.00I couldn't recommend Opi and the team at Ha Giang Road trip enough. It's well worth spending slightly more than with cheaper companies,as the guides are highly qualified, prioritize safety, and cater to all abilities. From start to finish, they were informative, frequently stopping to explain the next section, share the road's history, and took photos of us with the beautiful scenery. We felt like we were in really good. hands, especially with their thoughtful progression from road to gravel to build confidence. We also really enjoyed the t-shirt and felt well-fed with a buffet lunch, plenty of snacks, and water throughout the trip.

5.00We drove fantastic 4 days through the beautiful landscape of North Vietnam. There were beautiful views and the drivers drove very safely. I would definitely recommend it to try! Also nice that there was various food for everyone.

5.00the trip was very well organised by our tour guide Su. Starting from the coordination on the previous night, pickup on time, showing places etc. he is very knowledgeable and guided us very well to all places. We don’t need to wait at any place as he has made arrangements in advance. The Vietnamese restaurant he took us was very cozy and comfortable, food was delicious and especially he understood our food restrictions and arranged the foods accordingly. Highly recommend Mr Su from Opi Adventure. Also would like to specially mention about the driver Huyen who drove us safely and made us feel comfortable in the car by constantly checking and adjusting the temperature according to the rain and sunny time. Big thanks to Mr. Su for creating a memorable moments."

5.00The whole experience was amazing! The group leaders were fantastic and made sure everyone was taken care of and had fun. Accommodations were comfortable. The last two hostels we stayed at didn’t have hot water in the showers, but this is the only complaint I have for this trip. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I met so many new friends and made so many wonderful memories. I’d highly recommend Opi to solo travelers like myself who want to meet new people.

5.00We had a great time on the 3 day Ha Giang Loop by car with Ha Giang Road Trip! Our guide Thanh was also the driver, he was an older man so he made us feel safe from the first day we met. There were plenty of opportunities to stop at scenic spots and take pictures of the beautiful scenery, as well as lots of fun walking in between. The lunch provided was delicious (they catered for our vegetarians) and it was fun to stop at one of the handicraft villages along the way. The rest stops were really nice and catered for all our needs. The company even helped book onward transport to Sapa instead of back to Hanoi and everything went really smoothly. I would definitely recommend this tour to complete the loop!
