Dip your fins in the beautiful lagoon of Mara'a at Paea, an uncrowded area : we are the only operator! And not so far from Papeete (30' drive). Our experienced and passionate guides will help you to encounter the spinner dolphins usually found in the morning near the coast (50% chance to observe them, no swimming, they are shy animals), as well as the tropical fish, rays and turtles that can be observed in the lagoon. From November to July. Encounters with wild animals are not guaranteed.
You will board Stenella, a comfortable and spacious 28' boat.
After the search for dolphins, we anchor in one of the beautiful "pools" in the lagoon. Massive coral formations will delight the underwater life lovers. The aquatic tour is led by a guide passionated about biology.
This excursion is offered from early November to late July. We offer other activities :
- scuba diving
- whale watching tours (from July to November)
- private boat "apéro sunset"
- private boat (day or half day)

The harbor is located before the 33/27 mark (27km from PPT/33km from Taravao) in west coast at Paea, after the ILM research center, at the sign "Quartier Aquatika". You will see our sign Mobydick Tahiti. On weekends, please park in the school's parking on the mountain side of the road.

What To Expect
This product will be validated manually according to current reservations. Embark on our boat "Stenella" and discover the beautiful lagoon of Mara'a, where you will be alone in the world! At first, we go looking for dolphins near the pass (this is an animal safari, encounters are not guaranteed +/ - 50% chance ) If we find some, we will not launch because this species is very fearful. We then explore the Mara'a Lagoon and anchor the boat on one of our spots from where you will snorkel with your Guide. Submersible platelets are available. Water excursions are offered off-season whale from early November to late July. Two hours: 8:30 or 13:00. There are other Things to do: -scuba diving - whale trips (July to November) - privatised boat "drink sunset" - privatised boat (day or half day) The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour if a minimum of 4 passengers is not reached or if the weather conditions are not compatible with safety. In this case, a full refund will be triggered.

5.00Isabel was amazing and very patient with some of the other customers on the boat who were not as comfortable in the water. She kept apologizing to us but we were fine ... she pointed us to the areas to stick to for snorkeling and the whole experience was just amazing! I would totally recommend this excursion to anyone wishing to experience the magic of the coral reefs on Tahiti!

5.00Our snorkeling tour with Isabelle was great. Our group of 3 were the only ones booked on this trip, so it felt like our own private exclusion. First we went out between a gap in the reef. We saw guys surfing. We waited 5 minutes to see if any spinner dolphins were around. Unfortunately the day we went out they weren't. We headed back inside the reef and went to our snorkeling spot not far away. Before we got in to the water, Isabelle showed us on a chart, of all the different fish we would see. She also took the chart with us. We followed her around a coral garden. Isabelle did not rush us and she let us look at our leisure. Isabelle is very passionate about the sea life and protecting the ocean. The fish and coral we saw were amazing. Isabelle even dived down to point out a turtle for us. Isabelle kept checking we were aright. We felt safe at all times. There was no current where we were snorkeling. After the coral garden we went to a shallow lagoon to have a quick swim. Just after we got back into the boat, 2 stingray swam right up to the side of the boat. Isabelle is a wonderful guide. Thank you Isabelle for an amazing trip. We highly recommend this snorkeling tour.
