Paro Taktsang
The wooden structure built amazingly, stands bravely on a cliff. It is said that the great Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and set up this monastery when he brought the teachings of the Buddhist Dharma to Bhutan in the 8th Century. The monastery was built in 1692 by Gyalse Tenzin Rabgaye who is said to be one of the reincarnations of Guru Rinpoche. From the road, the hike toward Taktshang follows an uphill route and takes approximately 2-3 hours at an average walking pace on a clear, sunny day.

The experience is superb! Plus having one of the bests tour guides- nothing can be asked for! It wasn’t an awkward experience day by day, I get or rather we felt comfortable with them. Total happiness and very good experience..🫶🏻 we were taken cared well by Tashi Tenzin and Sanju! Kudos to them! It was also a hassle free experience and no hints of no can be given to the services provided! It was seamless even though our flight was delayed..Really this country has a lot to offer so the only regret is not having more days to stay and explore more..❤️👍🏻👏🏻 All the best

We booked our Bhutan trip with OMSHA Travel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We entered Bhutan via the India–Bhutan land border and OMSHA arranged everything seamlessly from the airport pickup in India to ensuring our safe entry into Bhutan. As two young ladies traveling together we truly appreciated the sense of security and care they provided throughout. Our 4D3N itinerary was packed and while we enjoyed every moment I would recommend staying longer if possible. Bhutan has so much to offer and travel time between destinations can take up a fair portion of the day. Sharing a general idea of what you would like to see beforehand also helps OMSHA customize the trip perfectly. A highlight was definitely the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The hike is breathtaking but also steep and challenging so being reasonably fit is important to fully experience it. Overall OMSHA Travel made our Bhutan journey smooth, safe and unforgettable. Their attention to detail and hospitality left us with lasting memories. Highly recommended.

Traveling to Bhutan with OMSHA Travel was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From the very beginning, Nawang was absolutely wonderful to work with—responsive, kind, very organized, and offered us the best price by far. Planning a trip can be stressful, but Nawang made it seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Once we arrived in Bhutan, every single day was filled with fun, beautiful landscapes, and meaningful cultural experiences. Our guide, Lobzang, was a true gem—patient, funny, kind, and incredibly attentive to our needs and preferences. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the journey. His thoughtful guidance and good humor added so much to our experience. He was incredibly patient as he answered all of our questions about the country and Buddhism. Thanks to OMSHA Travel, Bhutan was more than just a destination—it was a deeply enriching adventure. I would definitely book with Nawang again and already find myself dreaming of a return to beautiful Bhutan. Thank you for making this such a memorable experience!

Thanks to Omsha Travel for arranging such a wonderful trip. I really recommend the tour, especially my guide Sonam Lhamo and driver Ugyen Wangchuk. They were both fantastic and made my trip great. The schedule allowed to see so many things, yet it did not feel rushed. Also the tour allowed for tailored activities depending on what I wanted to see and visit. I would have spent more time though because 4 days was too short for me. My guide Sonam had so much knowledge about all the sites as well as answering my questions about history and culture, and driver Ugyen was very caring and always prioritising safety and wellbeing. The accomodations the tour selected were also very nice and comfortable. I hope to be back soon!

My family and I had an incredible time in Bhutan thanks to Nawang and our amazing guide Namgay. From our pick-up at the airport to our amazing hotel stays and cultural tour experiences - everything was on time, top-quality, and so informative. When at one point during the trip our son fell a bit ill because of altitude sickness, our guide quickly helped us take care of him and get him medicine quickly. Even though it was only 5-days, it really felt like we were traveling with friends and for this reason, we will always remember Bhutan so fondly.
