What To Expect

Spend the day doing a morning and afternoon safari drive in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. Manyeleti means “Place of the stars”. Manyeleti means “Place of the stars” in the local language. It truly is a unique safari destination well off the beaten path. You can be certain not to encounter big tour groups traveling around in busses, but rather expect a pristine bush experience in one of the world's most beautiful places. This 23,000-hectare private game reserve has unfenced borders directly with the vast Kruger National Park, as well as the famous Sabi Sands. You will get a wakeup call from your guide and make your way down to the dining area for tea and coffee which will be served with biscuits before departing on your morning adventure. You guide will explain the morning's events before departing on an open game viewing vehicle through the Manyeleti Game Reserve. You will have the opportunity to spot the Big 5 animals like Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Buffalo, as well as an array of antelope and other wildlife animals that can be found in the Reserve. Arriving back at the camp after the safari drive, you are invited to relax and enjoy brunch at your own leisure. After brunch, there is time to walk around the camp or have a swim (depending upon the season of course). Make good use of this time to catch up on some sleep or simply enjoy the absolute tranquillity of the bush from the comfort of your chalet. Hopefully feeling totally relaxed and well rested, you make your way to the restaurant area for a light lunch including sandwiches and snacks, fruit juices and ice cold drinks. You guide meets you in the restaurant area and you depart on an afternoon/sunset safari drive in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. You make your way back to the camp after an exhilarating drive where dinner will be waiting for you. Dinner is served. After dinner enjoy an early night’s rest or stargaze from the deck in front of your air-conditioned chalet room.

For me the Safari that I booked through Outlook/kurgerparktravel was truly amazing. Ruben answered all my annoying questions very quickly before arrival and he was so nice. Then arriving at the camp with a warm welcome from the sweet guides Eugene Ewen, Oliver, Jeremiah and Rickson was lovely. I booked the cheapest option which is the tent and it was like clamping. It had a light, fan, good mattresses and a charger. I did 4 night because I also included the Panaroma Route which was incredibly beautiful and definitely recommended. The guides at the camp/the once doing the game drives have true respect for the animals and nature and they know everything about them. The food at the camp was also very good! Overall the service, kindness, professional, and sweetness of all made my entire trip incredible and so much fun. It is a great place to meet other people as a solo traveller as well. The camp is also right in the Krugerpark with only a fence to keep all the animals away. It is awesome and a memory for a lifetime. Enjoy!

We were a little nervous about booking a tour via the internet but after reading the reviews and making contact with Ruben our minds were put at ease. Ruben was a pleasure to deal with and answered our queries promptly. He organized our accommodation in Johannesburg, Victoria Falls and Cape Town including all transfers. The wonderful Manyeleti Main Camp game reserve was all we had hoped for and the game drives were amazing. We were very well looked after at the camp and the meals were creative with the staff making every effort to make it special. Our guide and tracker were fantastic at finding the animals and it was a great adventure. The accommodation in Johannesburg was "cheap and cheerful" but suited our overnight stays close to the airport perfectly. To the other extreme The Kingdom Hotel at Victoria Falls was absolutely beautiful and the Commodore at Cape Town was classy and in a great location within walking distance to the V & A Waterfront. We would like to thank Ruben for his patience, punctuality in responding and guidance in putting this tour together. We would definitely recommend Kruger Park Travel.

We stayed at a Sabie river tented camp. Nice and cosy, eco-friendly lodge. Meals were good(South African meal) and staff running the place were so friendly and have great personality. Very fortunately, there was only few other guests while me and my friend were there and we were the only guest taking safari drive from the lodge (others were self driving), so we got all our drives as private game drive. We saw all the big five and wild dogs! It was a really African great experience. It's a great value considering, following everything was included: transfer from/ to Joburg, accommodation, all meal at the camp, game drives.

2 days at Greenfire lodge and 2 at Karula villa allowed us to see two different private reserves, with different style of hospitality (cozy family style vs luxury resort -both were good). Our agent Wayne at Kruger Travel was patient and responsive whenever we had questions about the trip throughout.

It was a childhood dream to go on a safari and to finally be able to tick it off my bucket list and have such a lovely enjoyable experience was a bonus. Thank you to Ruben for assisting us booking this tour online, he was very helpful and provided us with all the necessary information. We had a wonderful time on this safari, we were really impressed with how the outlook staff looked after us over the four days on this tour. We were also fortunate to see the Big 5 in the first day which was amazing and rare. Massive Thank You to Ruben and to the Outlook Staff that were always on hand for us while we were on this safari.

We used Ruben at Kruger Park Travel to book and organise our itinerary whilst in South Africa, we couldn't be more pleased with the everything he did for us. From the pick up at the airport when we arrived right through all the accommodation and internal air travel went without a hitch even when the original airline we were booked on was grounded just days before we arrived, Ruben sorted everything out for us at no extra cost or inconvenience, his service was just outstanding. The Kapama Southern lodge Ruben organised for our Safari experience was nothing less than fantastic, from the first class accommodation to the first class service we received form all the staff, our guides who were clearly well experienced at finding the animals resulted in us seeing the BIG 5 and many more animals and overall both my wife and I rank this experience amongst the best things we have done. Be assured you if you use Kruger Park Travel you wont be disappointed, this company deliver on what the offer you, this was the first time we used a local agent for the area we were traveling to and not one from home and we could not be happier with the result, clearly with their local knowledge they know what to offer to provide the best experience. It was a great experience. We have seen the big 5 and plenty of other animals. The lodge is super. Our ranger Bonga was simply "the best". Very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate in his job. All other Personnel from the lodge also very friendly and helpful. Our trip was arranged by Wayne from Krueger Travel and everything (transfer, reservations) worked out perfectly. We can only recommend the travel agent and this exceptional lodge.
