We did the 4-day tour with Marius and it was great! He has a deep knowledge of the historical sites and cities we visited. It's impossible not to notice his kindness to the people working at the sights. At first I was afraid to go for a 4 day tour, but I see that it was the best choice. We could know a lot more about Sighisoara, Sibiu, Viscri, Brasov,... besides the essential (Peles and Bran castle). The tour was done at a great pace, with moments to explore on our own and others with the guide (we agreed at the beginning of the tour that we preferred this way). The hotels selected by the company are excellent, well located. Opting for the tour allowed us to see many different places in much less time than if we had done the trip on our own. I thought I would spend a lot of time inside the vehicle and downloaded playlists and podcasts to listen to, but it was not necessary! We were always talking or admiring the scenery.

We had an amazing honeymoon thanks to Silviu! He was so knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and just overall a great guy. He introduced us to so many amazing traditional Romanian food and drinks from Țuica, Pălincă, and Fetească to Mici and Tochitură. Silviu got us a great guide at Corvin Castle that gave us the full history of the castle and John of Hunedoara. It was like a episode of Game of Thrones (when the writing was good). Silviu says we lucked out with her because they aren’t always around to give tours. One of the benefits of going on the offseason is you really get a more personalized experience. Silviu really tailored the 4 days we spent with him to fit exactly what we wanted. The roads in Romania can be tricky to navigate but Silviu is a great driver and we felt safe the entire time with him. We highly recommend booking this tour and if you’re fortunate enough to get Silviu as your guide, prepare for an amazing adventure.

My family and I booked a private tour of Transylvania with Paul- he made the trip perfect. Aside from his vast knowledge of history, he is a funny, thoughtful guide. Paul took us different spots that he thought we specifically would like & spent more time in places he thought we would love. My 92 year old Grandmother was with us and he was also very patient in our walks and accommodating. He also stopped at many amazing photo spots for my photographer sister. The spots on the tour were breathtaking. We loved Paul so much that we booked an additional tour with him to the Black Sea, which was relaxing and beautiful. There was also a historical walking tour though the city before the beach. Going above and beyond, Paul also constantly helped us with our luggage. Paul knows so much history about Romania and tells it in a fascinating way. He is a gem and I would recommend him to EVERYONE!
