  We recently climbed Mt Meru and had a 4 day safari with Meru Slopes, it was an amazing adventure honeymoon that we really enjoyed. Mt Meru - Hiking the mountain was very challenging but the team made it worth it! Kennedy our guide was brilliant and super knowledgeable, then Alan (our host), Émile (chef) and Julius (porter and guide) were all some of the nicest people we met. The Safari - Hilary our guide made the trip amazing, he helped us see so many animals and was so knowledgeable. One of the best touches was that he taught us some Swahili language, which we had fun speaking to the hotel staff. I would recommend asking for Hilary to be your guide! We booked a 'mid-level' safari and the accommodation that Meru Slopes booked for us was way fancier than we expected, which was a lovely treat for our honeymoon. We had a private truck and the quality of the food they provided was great!   Asante Sana The organization was top, the accommodations during the safari (Heart and Soul Lodge and Moyo Tented Camp) exceeded expectations. The staff was very accommodating the Service very good. But the most important thing was our guide Julius, who accompanied us safely and informatively through the 5 days. Through his "tenacity" and experience, we have tracked down the BIG FIVE, at least twice each. He waited patiently (pole pole) until the correct camera setting was found. Through his experience, we never felt like we were missing anything. My expectations from childhood dreams were more than fulfilled.   The entire trip was amazingly well managed and planned by Gift from Meru Slopes. Gift very patiently answered and helped us with all our questions. We had a wonderful time with our guide Jacob. He is an expert and such a wonderful person. We thoroughly enjoyed all the 5 days. He is very knowledgeable and helped us spot all the big 5 including Rhinos at Ngorongoro crater. The lodges suggested by Gift were wonderful and the food was awesome and customised to our our preferences. Overall a fantastic experience with Meru Slopes thanks to Gift and Jacob. Would definitely recommend. Serval wildlife (ABSOLUTELY MUST DO) for close interactions with Zebra, Lion, Antelopes and Giraffes We stayed at - African Tulip and Under the Shade in Arusha on first and last day - both fantastic places and food was super).   Our group had an incredible time with Florian on our 4-day, 3-night safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater! Kelvin was very responsive to all questions throughout the planning process leading up to our trip. Florian was an outstanding guide who helped us see the Big Five plus many, many more animals. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife was impressive, matched only by his excellent driving skills. The accommodations were amazing and included private bathrooms and stunning views. The meals were delicious, and there was plenty of water & other beverages to enjoy throughout the day during the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in seeing many animals and having a once in a lifetime experience!

  Florian was an outstanding guide - we had an incredible safari and saw all the Big 5 as well as so much more in the Serengeti and Ngorogoro! Accommodations were fantastic and the food was great. Highly recommend Meru Slopes!

  We are so thankful to have chosen Meru Slopes as there is an unlimited number of tour operators in Tanzania. Meru Slopes is an established, legitimate, and well-known operator in Arusha, which is important since we made a cash deposit for our safari months in advance. My wife and I worked with Almachius who was very communicative and helpful to create a customized 4-day safari itinerary. The trip went smoothly and all the lodges were extremely comfortable. Our driver and guide, Samwel, was very experienced, accommodating, and friendly. He was so clearly an expert at navigating terrain that could be challenging at times. We felt safe with him and took comfort that he was a former car mechanic as well. Meru Slopes is truly lucky to have him!

  My wife and I had a great time in Tanzania with Meru Slopes' help. We had a person waiting at the airport to pick us up as we arrived at JRO. Our guide, John was great! He was very polite, nice to talk to, and knowledgeable about the animals and Tanzania. He always stopped to let us take pictures and waited until we told him we are good to go. He even took our pictures multiple times when we requested him to. John also took us to several shops for us to buy souvenirs, even on our way to being dropped off in Arusha. Meru Slopes also arranged our drive to the airport for our return flight. Overall, a great experience and we highly recommend! Ask for John as your guide!
