Just got back from a 4-day tour with Ethio Wildlife tours and it honestly blew me away. We visited several different tribes in Omo Valley , and each day felt like a completely new and eye opening experience. What I loved most was how real and respectful everything felt nothing was touristy or fake. We got to meet local families, see how they live, hear their stories, and even take part in a few traditional activities. Our guide was awesome super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and clearly had a great relationship with the communities. You could tell they really cared about doing things the right way. The accommodations were basic but totally fine (clean and comfortable), and the whole trip was really well organized. Everything ran smoothly, and we never felt rushed. I definitely recommend them.

Stay two nights and three nights in Tulumi and join Omo Valley Tour It was a great experience to be able to take a tour of the Hamar, Dasanechi, Kara and various tribal villages and especially to participate in the coming-of-age ceremony of the Hamar. The guides are also very kind and attentive, and even Japanese people who are not good at English can enjoy themselves without difficulty. The driver was also good at taking pictures and was very considerate. Also, I was stretched out to fly on the last day because I was hungry, and I was surprised that they took me to the hostel and took me to dinner. Everyone in Ethiopia is kind! It's well worth going all the way to join, if you're interested in tribes and cultures.
