After SŌOKO Xperiences you will then be transferred to your accommodation in Kinigi where you will freshen up, relax and lunch. Pick-up by 6:30 am after breakfast, then transfer to Park HQ for briefing. At 7:00 am, enjoy coffee and meet park officials at RDB Kinigi. You’ll be briefed, assigned a gorilla family based on fitness and age, and begin the trek at 8:00 am. The briefing covers gorilla behavior, what to expect, and what to carry. At 8:00 am, drive to the starting point where porters will assist if needed. Park rangers will guide your trek. Gorilla trekking runs from approx. 8:30 am–12:00 pm, taking 2–6 hrs. You’ll spend 1 hour with the gorillas—observe, photograph, and enjoy their behavior up close. Afterward, return to the starting point where your guide awaits. Then transfer to Migano in Musanze for lunch (1:20–2:00 pm). Afternoon transfer to Lake Kivu (Karongi) with scenic views. Check-in, relax, dinner, and overnight at Cormoran Lodge on Lake Kivu.

Early morning pick-up by 5 am and transfer for briefing at the park headquarters. Chimpanzee trekking through Nyungwe Forest, known for its diverse primate and birdlife.
