4 days in the jungle, hiking in the sun, bug bites, sleeping in the rain, carrying a 20lb pack were all tiring, but i felt so refreshed in the days after. It was truly healing and the feeling after and the views were worth all the effort. Dillon was an awesome guide and always had multiple options and contingency plans in case of any issues. The absolute trip of a lifetime and i’m so happy to have made the commitment to do it.

The EPIC Blackwater Adventures Sakaika Falls trip, a must-do experience in Guyana! The falls are breathtaking, arguably surpassing the beauty of Kaieteur. But this adventure is more than just witnessing water cascade over the edge. Journeying through incredibly remote communities offers an unparalleled cultural immersion. The logistics are nothing short of legendary – involving planes, boats, tractors, and good old-fashioned hiking. The scenery is mesmerizing, featuring tepuis, savannahs, jungles, gorges, and the thrill of bush camping. Dillon, the owner of Blackwater, and Luke, your guide, ensure you’re well taken care of. Luke’s military background equips him to motivate the group when the going gets tough, and his extensive bush survival knowledge makes him an awesome companion. This adventure comes highly recommended!

This was the trip of a lifetime…We were on a Ladies’ trip (7 of us) and Dillon was our guide! We all had an amazing time full of laughs, adventure, and some of the most stunning scenery in Guyana. We made memories that I’ll cherish (and brag about) forever! This is well organized and all provided equipment was of high quality! I would highly recommend to everyone to do this! We were already trying to think of our next adventure with Dillon!

Spent 4 days out in the jungle with Dillon as our guide and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! He is super trustworthy, knows what he’s doing and provided a comfortable trip for all 8 of us. Highly recommend and can’t wait to do more adventures with Blackwater in the future!

Having gone fishing with Blackwater Adventures before, when we saw Dillon was offering a trek to this off the grid waterfall we jumped at the opportunity. I’m so glad we did! It was a challenging hike in the heat but it was worth it when we reached the top of the falls. Pictures don’t do justice to the wild, undisturbed beauty of it all. Dillon was a fantastic guide, always looking out for us, keeping us on track and having fun.

If you like to hike and have an adventurous spirit, this is a trip for you! My friends and I had an amazing life experience with Blackwater Adventures. The hike itself was moderately challenging, no steep climbs or rocky areas. The nature we saw along the way was beautiful. Sakaika falls were a true wonder and such a gratifying destination. Sleeping in the jungle/forest in hammocks was super cool. I felt very safe the whole time and Dillon was an excellent guide. Highly recommend this trip.
