We're known for operating the best all-inclusive snorkel experiences on the island of Cozumel, including the famous 'El Cielo' and 'The Turtle Sanctuary'. We aim to visit 3 or 4 different destinations during the tour to give you a taste of what our beautiful island has to offer.

We provide everything you need to enjoy the tour with us, including freshly prepared Mexican snacks and ice-cold drinks. Just turn up and we'll take care of the rest!

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your sailing time. All times shown are for Cozumel’s local timezone, which may differ to your cruise ship timezone. Check before booking.

If you are late, we shall assume that you have failed to attend, and we reserve the right to continue the tour at the scheduled time in your absence. Unfortunately, if you are late or you miss your allotted booking time, it is very unlikely that we will be able to reallocate you or your party to another slot.

What To Expect

We’ll visit some of the most amazing reef locations on the island of Cozumel, including a green turtle sanctuary where we can snorkel alongside peacefully in their natural habitat. We also visit ‘El Cielo’ (‘Heaven’) - an incredible natural starfish sanctuary, filled with many bright red & orange starfish on pristine white sands. Towards the end of the tour, we’ll move on to Cielito, or ‘Little Heaven’. This is a natural sandbank in crystal clear water, where we can simply relax and enjoy freshly prepared snacks and drinks before cruising back to port with the sunset. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your sailing time. All times shown are for Cozumel’s local timezone, which may differ to your cruise ship timezone. Check before booking. Please do not apply sunscreen immediately before or during the tour; 'reef safe' or 'coral safe' sunscreens only minimise damage to our reef systems and are not proven to be completely harmless to aquatic life. Many sunscreens can also create slippery surfaces which can pose a hazard on our boats. As an alternative, we recommend using a long sleeve rash vest and hat.

This was one of the best excursions that I have ever taken! From signing in and reserving spot.., they sent emails and messages. Alex was great in responding and making travel arrangements to the dock. The guys on the Poseidon catamaran were great. Capt David, Leo, Pedro and Adrian took good care of everyone, safety conscious and lots of fun. They made sure we saw am eagle ray, nurse sharks, coral formaions, tropical fish and starfish. The drinks and snacks were a bonus. I would recommend this tour to any couples, family or friends!!

Good time saw a lot. The whole gang was a good time. Made sure everyone is taken care of food was really good too. Definitely worth every penny.

1. There were no turtles, and there was no “sanctuary” 2. The boat did not drop us off at the starting point as promised. They claimed that there was a problem. They did not explain this to everyone. I had to ask another person. They put some of us in a taxi claiming they prepaid for us to get back to the starting point, but the taxi said they didn’t pay him to go back to the starting point. We had to collect money and pay him ourselves. 3. The person who instructed us on the boat made no effort to ensure we heard him. I only heard part of what he said and had to take cues from the others (ie. “Put your life jackets on”.) 4. The snorkeling was good, but we were only at the locations a short while. Maybe 15 minutes of swimming and another 10 forced to waiti to get back on the boat. 5. They gave us giant cups (maybe 24 oz.?) of watered down rum punch and “margaritas”, but then we were forced to hold them for as long as it took to drink them, or throw them out. 6. They did offer some tequila shots and mezcal shots, it was not forced at all. Tge mezcal was tasty. 7. As a solo traveler I was largely ignored. The only words spoken directly to me were (you are a strong swimmer?) This was as I was jumping into the water… So. The highlight was seeing two nurse sharks. Others were able to see an eel, but due to the crowded group of snorkelers, I kept away from being finned so I missed that. I also liked the water temperature. It was really nice. The coral was good, and there were quite a few fish.

Great service, communication and safety. The crew made the trip fun. All the snorkeling sites were beautiful, I just wish we had more time at each location. If there were less custom passenger pickup stops maybe there could be an additional 5-10 minutes at each snorkel site. Overall the trip was amazing!!

An absolutely amazing tour. Such stunning spots and the whole crew were just at best. Did this on our first day. Going to be hard to top swimming wit sharks, turtles, rays and all the tropical reef fish.

Amazing experience onboard the Poseidon crew - absolutely worth every penny. They made you feel very safe and comfortable the whole time. We managed to see a shark, a turtle, sting rays and lots more.

It was an amazing experience!! Marine life and clear waters were fascinating. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The guide was very funny too. They made us feel very welcome and we had a great day!

Had a blast! Surfboard buffet was a new experience and I’ve been on many of these excursions. Three snorkel stops. First was great the other too were meh. Snorkeling was a little crowded with other tours but that’s Cozumel.
