Your local friendly guide will pick up at your downtown Shanghai hotel. Upon meeting, tell you guide if you have any specific interests on the tour. As exclusive private tour, the itinerary will be 100% customized around you. Following is the recommended one, be sure to let your guide know if you need make any changes. First head to Old part of Shanghai which still keep its unique and charming Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, here you have loads of opportunities to capture the amazing china sounds , from various street food , creative local arts , handicrafts, old residences , colorful old street that mingled with the local people.

Former French Concession

Next head to chic neighborhood at French Concession , visit a lovely park designed with the “ French concept” and see how the locals go and enjoy their life, take the charming and unique scenery lined with green leafy “ French trees” and take a walk in the local Shanghai Nongtang alley lanes to get the real life of the local people. Pose in front some of the striking and colonial architecture along the way, meanwhile get a glimpse of the old Shanghai history. In addition, make a visit into the local wet market and be amazed at all various food selections, ingredients, sea food and more.

This 4-hour private flexible photography tour of Best of Shanghai is a necessity for Solo/family who does not have lots of time to experience the city, also the tour guy Sean helps me with taking photos. I highly recommend this tour either for Solo or Family.

Our super guide Lea who spoke perfect English, made us discover the city and its history in a fantastic way, in addition to giving us additional addresses we needed (restaurant, beauty, and shopping). We also enjoyed the trips by private luxury car with Gao our driver, especially in the heat in August, we highly recommend this visit!

We have been on many tours but Lia (not sure of spelling) made it one of the best ever. Her explanations were clear and informed. Because of the weather it was changed from open air photography locations to indoor sites. Fantastic

Jun was an amazing guide. We were able to see everything I had requested. We stayed on time and the driver was always nearby to pick us up when we were done. We selected the private driver option. It was great to have during these hot days in July. I had also emailed Sunny prior to booking since my daughter wanted to do a photo shoot as we saw the highlights of Shanghai. Sunny was able to find a professional photographer very reasonably priced and he was amazing as well. He joined us during the tour and took my daughter’s photos, gave her instructions for poses, made sure to clear people so she would be the only one in the photos. The tour group was amazing! Jun’s English was fantastic and she helped me communicate with the vendors when I was trying to buy souvenirs. Would highly recommend.

I booked the tour with private car. Sunny was punctual and cheerful. She brought me to the Bund, the old Town, the French concession and then finally recommended a restaurant near my hotel at the end of the tour. Food at the restaurant was excellent. The car was new and very comfortable. We never had to wait long for the driver. The time passed very quickly and the sights are based on your interests. Next time I would do a full day trip to one of the nearby water towns.
