We had an amazing four-hour tour of the Lake District starting from Windermere. Our guide, David, was simply great! We visited several breathtaking lakes, and the views were absolutely fantastic. David's engaging manner made the entire tour very enjoyable. We definitely recommend this tour and especially our wonderful guide, David!

OMGosh! This tour was so informative. It was also very beautiful, as is the LAKE DISTRICT. David was our guide and did an excellent job of making it interesting with stories that aren't in your tour book. I thought this tour was going to be stodgy since it was a "driving tour." It wasn't! Also, who knew that there was another "stone circle"? I appreciated the tips for return visits as well.

After a year of planning our five week United Kingdom tour, we were blessed to secure David as our private guide for three experiences in the Lake District. First off David negotiated a most precarious drive just to arrive at our isolated cottage, regaled us with many historical facts to supplement the outstanding views we were enjoying, filled us with humorous asides, and treated we “ older ladies “ with gentlemanly courtesy. And, yes, we heartily recommend David!!! The “other lady’s review” - We so enjoyed touring the Lake District with David. His knowledge of the area was fantastic and was delivered with a generous dose of humor. He arranged stops with our limited mobility in mind. He acted as if his sole purpose was to ensure we had a great time-which we did!! Thank you, David, with leaving us with wonderful memories!

I messaged David prior to our tour and he is very quick to respond. Our meeting point was easy to find. He catered the tour to our interests and was funny and informative throughout. He offered up recommendations for after our tour which were excellent! We highly recommend David and this tour.
