What To Expect
We depart from the dock of Platis Gialos, head southwest and after 8NM we reach the uninhabited island of Poliegos. The word “Poliegos” or “Polyaigos” comes from two Greek words “Poly” which means “many” and “Aiga” which means “goat”, the island’s only inhabitants are wild goats, and plenty of them. If the weather is appropriate, we stop to the cave of Fanara with the crystal clear blue water and the beautiful colors on the volcanic walls. We then head south and we soon enter the bay of Faros. There we can admire the much-photographed lighthouse of the island built in 1898. We can swim in the bay and enjoy the turquoise waters as well as the small lake that is attracting wild goats. We then head to the southern end of the island till we enter the bay Kalogeroi. There are white and pink pebbles and beautiful rocks that surround the bay. We will soon enter the bay with the ruins of old mines on the island. We then head west. We will see the rocks in the shape of sailboats, and enter the caves with the boat to see the wonderful waters. The Sifnos boat rentals team will arrive at the beach of Mirsini where we can swim in crystal clear and always calm waters.

5.00We were a group of 10 cousins and their partners on two separate A La Mer speed boats and had a fantastic time! We did an afternoon trip from Sifnos to various spots around Poliegos. We saw different locations (sandy beaches, rocky beaches, caves, etc.) around Poliegos. Our boat capitans were very flexible and wanted us to have a great time. It was really beautiful afternoon and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend.

5.00Our transfer and day trip from Paros to Sifnos was perfect. From the initial contact until the end of the trip everything was flawless. Communication was prompt and always informative. The driver was at the wharf early and provided location information that was easy to follow. The day on the boat was lovely, the boat and our driver (Ntinos) were fantastic and our arrival at Sifnos was so easy. They organised a taxi to be waiting for us on arrival to take us from the wharf to our accomodation. Above and beyond all expectations.... Thanks to the team at A La Mer

5.00The boat ride was amazing! Our skipper Antonis treated us well and was chill and easy to get along with. The sights are otherworldy and look straight out of a postcard- we saw remote geological structures and were surrounded with clear turqoise and beautiful blue waters the whole time! And the trip length was long enough to enjoy all the sights along the way- well worth the money as its created memories I will cherish forever

5.00Antonis was an excellent skipper and took us safely (and stylishly) to the most beautiful beaches and spots in Polyaigos. None of us had ever seen anything like this. Absolutely worth it, you can't miss this trip if you're visiting Sifnos. Beautiful blue water, amazing snorkeling and the views were breathtaking. We even made some goat friends! I'll be back for more next year for sure, thank you A La Mer! Thank you Riris, Nicolas and Antonis!

5.00A M A Z I N G! Once in a lifetime experience, where you can appreciate some of the most beautiful waters in greece. The staff was absolutely perfect, the equipment totally new. Overall, i haven't explored something like that before, and you should try it without a doubt
