If you only have a short amount of time but you want to see as much of the French Quarter as possible, this is your tour! We will move at a fast pace, but you'll be able to get all those pictures! We will see all the famous sites of the French Quarter in 45 minutes. There is not as much storytelling or history as you get on a typical two-hour tour, but your guide will follow-up with a recap of the tour and a list of recommended ways to enjoy New Orleans even more.

What To Expect
Jackson Square
Start your whirlwind tour in the heart of the city, Jackson Square. From here you can see St. Louis Cathedral, two Louisiana State Museums, the iconic Pontalba Apartments, and the statue of Andrew Jackson (of course). Your guide will give you a brief history of New Orleans, then it's off you go!
Chartres Street
Continue up Chartres Street for some examples of iconic New Orleans architecture and great shops and restaurants, including a home that was prepared as a refuge for Napoleon (spoiler: he stood us up), a museum dedicated the stranger aspects of 19th Century pharmaceutical profession(leeches!) and the Louisiana State Supreme Courthouse.

5.00Just go book the tour already - you will not be disappointed! Libby was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge of New Orleans and its colorful and interesting history. She tailored our tour to the interests of our group and made sure to answer every question we had. We had a group of high school aged girls and she delivered the information in a way that hooked them from the beginning. I hope we can come back and do another one soon!!

5.00Libby was amazing and worked with our schedule when our flight was cancelled after a seven hour delay. She was understanding and accommodating and we couldn't be more grateful! The tour told us everything we needed to know and more about the area. She also recommended Sweet Saint Ice Cream which was literally the best ice cream I've ever had and Empanola which was incredible.

5.00My small group was so excited to book a short tour of New Orleans for that very morning! We met Libby in Jackson Square. She was very conscientious about texting us about parking situations and when and where to find her. Her first question regarded our group’s interest for the tour, whether it be for historical facts, entertainment ideas, or dining suggestions. ( We chose history.) Libby was an absolute delight throughout the entire tour, not only relaying factual events but also pointing out comical elements found throughout the French Quarter. She answered our various historical questions and even offered insight into several eateries, alleys, bars, and shops. Her voice was always loud enough and clear enough for us to hear. The pace was a comfortable constant. Even when there were unexpected detours, she was quick to guide us in different directions and still explain points of interest. I would happily take another tour guided by Libby. It was the perfect tour to begin our stay in New Orleans!

5.00James did a nice job as our tour guide. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable about New Orleans and the Garden District. James made sure to cover the topics we were most interested in. Early December is cool but not cold weather in New Orleans so it’s easy to do a walking tour. We recommend this 45 minute tour if you’re pressed for time or if it’s a hot time of year when you want to minimize sun and heat exposure — however, you could consider taking a 2 hour walking tour if you want a lot of details about home architecture and Garden District history.
