Great experience, our guide Adam was very helpful and informative, ensuring we had the right clothing and explaining how to and what to expect when sledding with a team of dogs. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience, which we did.

Best experience so far. Husky sledge run was nice and long, plenty of opportunity to enjoy the scenery. Afterwards we were invited to feed our own Husky teams and make a fuss of them. All the dogs were extremely friendly. Our favourite experience on this holiday, well worth the money.

Our sled guide Adam was great. You can tell he’s very passionate about the dogs and their wellbeing, and he explained a lot of the practices to maintain their mental & physical health, their routines, training, etc. The huskies are all super sweet and loved receiving all the pets after our sled ride!

We had such a great time on this dog sledding adventure. The drive out to Gargia Lodge took about 30 minutes, but the driver was very knowledgeable and filled the drive with information. Upon arrival, we were outfitted with thermal suits, boots, additional socks and mittens if needed. A brief introduction on how to handle the sled was provided, simple yet very clear. Our guide was fantastic. She made sure the sleds stayed together and took us on a great journey in a winter wonderland. We were able to hang out with the wonderful dogs after the ride and each person was given the chance to drive the sled and ride if wanted. We then went back to the lodge and had a snack and a lovely warm fruit drink that was amazing. Everyone was so helpful. They answered all of our questions about dog sledding and their journeys as well as answer lots of questions we had about the area and things to do. Such a wonderful experience. Everyone should visit Alta and go on a dog sledding adventure.
