It is a one of a kind adventure on the island. We rode through the rain forest as the rivers were raging. We had to take some of the bridges instead of fording all the rivers. It was bumpy but our trucks benches were padded enough.

Unfortunately, hardly any stops are made to get out for photos...it was not stopped at beautiful views and waterfalls, We always passed the other jeeps who made all the stops with their guests. Later we called out to the guide in the front of the car "stop" we want to stop and get out.

Very nice route with lush vegetation, photo stops and lots of interesting explanations given by a guide very invested in the communication of Tahitian culture and flora.Only flat, lots of bumps on this road but we know it at the start

This is a full day adventure. It's loads of fun and the scenery is fantastic. It's clear Leonie and her team are knowledgeable and passionate about Tahiti. Our guide stopped frequently to show us different plants (explaining their value to the people of the island) and breathtaking waterfalls. We had a nice stop for lunch (which we purchased at a store prior to leaving Papeete) and they supplied delicious fruit for dessert. They played lovely music for us at lunch and even got us up dancing. Note we didn't have any bathroom breaks until lunch (perhaps if someone needed one there would have been somewhere provided), so plan accordingly if you know what I mean. The trip, as others have noted, is along bumpy roads and many are along the side of the mountain but the scenery made it all worthwhile.

Our group had the pleasure of Leoine, the owner, guide us for the day. She was passionate about the island of Tahiti and gave us stories of her family and guidance on how to respect the island. Highly, highly recommend!
