I joined the A+B 9day trip with a friend. We have our own room without single supplement. The price is reasonable. We were well taken care by the tour guides and the crews. 16 people on the ship with 9 crew members & 2 tour guides. Two excursion activities in the morning and afternoon, in between with a long break before and after lunch. Free wifi for use on the ship though the reception was better at the common area. Snokerlling & hiking were the major activities. The guides ensure everyone got good experience with the activities, e.g. teach beginner how to do snokerling, We had 3 meals and post activities snacks daily. They were set meals with minimal options. The service was excellent with personal touch & individual attention from our guides Javier and Karem! Crew team Eleanor, Ronald and the cullinerary team. They have enriched the trip experience! It will be better if a hand sanitization area is available on the main deck with food/drink being served. I highly recommend Montserrat Yacht for the Galapagos Islands travel.

Galapagos is a must see destination. And if you plan to go, the Monserrat experience is one of the best. The experience was truly remarkable with great guides, crew, food and activities. Everything was perfect all 5 days.

I went on a Galapagos cruise on the Monserrat boat booked through AdventureSmith. Overall the trip met expectations. One guide was great and highly experienced, the other was good but not as experienced and didn’t pay attention to my interests as much. Food was good but not great. The server/bartender was not very friendly. The biggest complaint I would have is that when the boat is moving, the engine downstairs is extremely loud and I had a really hard time sleeping Itinerary and activities are great. At most islands we were the only ones there which was very nice. The guides were patient and let us spend a lot of time at each place. Note that the guides are contract workers and frequently change boats.

The monserrat was a really nice boat that had plenty of relaxation space and areas for socialising, while providing enough space for quiet time. The crew are what make this boat so great though! They were super attentive and really hospitable. Our dingy driver Peter and Carlos were always trying to get us to the best spots in the water. We were always taken care of, and the all the staff ensured we had a great time. The food was fantastic, using fresh and local ingredients and heaps of variety with no meal ever repeated. We had a fantastic guide, Pablo, who was super knowledgeable and really great with our group. I would 100% recommend and stay on again!

Exactly as advertised. A great experience, both on land and in the water. Snorkeling (2x per day) with penguins, sea lions, turtles and sharks. Up close and personal on land with tortoises, iguanas, boobies. A couple of the planned activities were a bit strenuous for older travelers, but the guides were very accommodating and came up with easier, but still quite productive, options for those who wanted an easier pace. The boat is a bit dated, and the staterooms pretty basic, but the food was good, the Wi-Fi worked well, the included snorkeling gear (masks, fins, wet suits) was in excellent condition, and the crew extremely friendly and helpful. And you don’t spend much time in the room anyway. Not much onboard entertainment, but that really doesn’t matter because breakfast was typically at 6:15, with the first activity at 7:00 AM; most passengers were in bed not long after dinner (usually at 7:00 PM.

It was absolutely amazing. You are unburdened in everything and everything is arranged. Very friendly staff and the guides Javier and Fátima had a lot of knowledge and attention to detail. With their experience, they saw many animals and nature that you yourself would be less likely to notice. Every day there is a beautiful and varied program. It costs a bit, but you'll definitely get a bit. I can recommend it to everyone.

An amazing busy 5 days. 12 of us were either hiking or snorkeling from the afternoon of our arrival until the morning of departure! Pablo was a great guide; giving us room to explore within the park rules. The last final swim, an hour before leaving the yacht, was a frolic with playful sea lions. Meals were wonderful. The crew was wonderful. Already planning a return trip.

My son and I actually did an 11 day itinerary which was totally amazing! When going to the Galapagos you are not going on a cruise you are going on an adventure! Be ready to hike snorkel and swim both mornings and afternoons and see the wonderful world of the indigenous animals. Our accommodations were very comfortable and the food was really good and plentiful. You will not go hungry! The Captain and crew were absolutely great. We named our house keeper ninja because our rooms were clean and tidy every time we were out of our cabin. We had super naturalists that loved their jobs and loved sharing the excitement of the beautiful environment of the Galapagos. You cannot go wrong with this trip. We actually were sad to leave and if doing over we would have done all the itineraries!

We did the 5-day itinerary B cruise and overall had a great time! The excursions are amazing and both guides were brilliant, explaining us everything in detail and going out of their way to make pictures and videos of everyone while snorkeling especially. Many thanks! The captain, engineers and deck crew did a fantastic job making sure we were safe and sound at all times. Our cabin was small, but we felt very comfortable and you won't spend much time there anyway ;) Our housekeeper did an excellent jobs!! There are a few drawbacks to our experience unfortunately: The 5day/4night tour is more a 4day/4night tour, as on either end you only have a few hours of activity. 1) First day: We were already staying on Santa Cruz Island, but were asked to get a taxi early in the morning to meet at the airport, wait around for other passengers, then go to the boat and wait around there for hours until the first activity started on Santa Cruz Island at only 3pm! We could have spent the entire day still in Santa Cruz and just met the crew at the turtle ranch and saved money on taxi, but this way we lost an entire day for no reason... 2) Ricky our bar tender and server was a bit moody. My husband and I both asked him for a couple of beers once when we happened to sit outside and as asked very nicely in Spanish "Hey Ricky, so sorry to disturb you, but would it be possible to get 2 beers". Each time he just silently got up, no eye contact, walks behind the bar and silently hands us the drinks... Just very awkward. I didn't ask for another drink thereafter. I also had some leftover oat milk that I took on board and asked for it every morning to have with my coffee. I knew I had some left the last day since I didn't finish it the day before, so again I asked nicely for my milk and he just responds "it's finished". So I respond "how is this possible? I didn't finish it yesterday...?" And he proceeds to silently reach below the bar and give it to me right away....what was that all about? One activity on board is also a cocktail "class", which is a cocktail "demonstration". Only 1 person gets to participate in the class and gets to drink the cocktail while everyone else goes home empty handed 🙄. No point in participating and being disappointed. For the money your guest pay, at the bare minimum give everyone a cocktail 😑 3) Sadly the main drawback for us was the food. We had amazing food everywhere in Ecuador - from street food, to home cooking, to hostel food to restaurant food, so we were shocked how awful the food was on board 😓There was a lot of food, but not a single dish was good - literally only enjoyed eating the fresh fruit that required zero cooking skills. 😬. Breakfast every day was dry pretoasted bread + jam, 1 slice of watermelon - 1piece of pineapple and 1 melon piece, American cheese, hotdog and scrambled eggs - and sometimes American pancakes with syrup .🫢you didn't even get 100% fresh juice - everything was watered down with added sugar. Lunch and dinner was not any better. Each dish was mainly underseasoned, at times overseasoned (the filet of fish was so salty you couldn't eat it and I love salt!), dishes were not refined, and the flavours of what he put on the plate didn't go together at all - I.e. to start we had praws with potatoe mash, somewhat raw vegetables (I.e. an entire carot on the plate!) without any seasoning and mango sauce 🤷♀️. Also none of my dietary restrictions were taken into account _at all_. 😬 despite the guide even confirming this again when we met at the airport - no dairy, no eggs. Everything from snacks to meals contained dairy or eggs and there was so effort made to adjust the menu. Fortunately, I don't have any strong allergies, otherwise this would have been a massive disaster. We started skipping meals or just having one bite and returning the rest. The coffee cake the last day was so gross I had to spit it out... another day we had strawberries with cream and sugar sauce and even that was awful... Sadly the food especially dragged our experience down. The moment we got off the boat I San Cristobal and hit one of the restaurants, we again had amazing food! Considering we paid $2000 for 4 days, the food should have been a highlight, but they go with quantity over quality and serve you the cheapest quality food prepared with no effort

The holiday was extraordinary as natural beauties and experience! The itinerary was really very nice and complete, not repetitive, we combined the itinerary A and B. The organized trips were very interesting, well organized and every day the program was full of commitments. Only the day of the change between itinerary A and B could there be a better organization, because those of us who stayed on the boat had a lot of free time unnecessarily .. The 2 guides were very good and we also appreciated that the 20 total guests on the boat were divided into 2 subgroups, each with a guide. The boat is dated and would need restyling, especially at the level of the bathrooms and common areas practically non-existent. Great, however, the fact that there was plenty of water for the shower and always boiling water. The guide told us that in 3 months they will change it with a new one. The crew is nice and helpful, the food deserves more than full sufficiency. Very nice with the various snacks on return from trips. A little annoying in asking for tips (absurd figures, much higher than you indicated) for both the guide and the crew. Anyway it was really a great experience and we hope that the boat will also be renovated
