Pyrohovo Open-Air Museum

Meet your guide at the reception of your hotel and after 20 minutes of comfortable drive you will forget about the hassle of the city arrive to the unique Open-Air Museum Pirogovo. There is a marvelous three domed wooden church on the territory of the museum with the iconostasis of the XVIII century. Just a few steps from the church there is a priest house and an old school. You will find a souvenir shop in one of the houses, where you can buy handmade products of the local artisans, including pottery, embroidered shirts etc. One of the main attractions in Pirogovo is the collection of windmills, situated on the top of a picturesque hill. Once you reach this place, you will admire the astonishing panorama of the whole territory of the museum. It’s a great place to take pictures. Moreover, there are several restaurants here where you can try some national dishes in your free time (optional). The tour will end with a drop-off to your hotel.
