We took a fantastic 5-day tour in Bucovina and Maramues with Teofil Ivanciuc. Teo has incredible knowledge about Romanian history, culture, and art, but more than that he loves the land, people, and lifestyle and shares his passion with guests. In addition to seeing the "must see" attractions, the tour includes casually meeting with many people who are upholding traditions. This is a very special part of the experience. If you are interested in gaining an in-depth appreciation of Romanian history, art, and traditions, definitely take a tour with Teo!

Teo is a passionate and intelligent guide to Maramures and Bukovina. We were able to visit with local people to learn more about their way of life - something we never could have done on our own. We loved the B&B we stayed at in Breb and the local food he suggested for us. I would have no problem recommending Teo to anyone who wants the best experience in this fascinating and beautiful part of the world.
