It was a great , simply indescribable experience with the extremely nice host family. At the cooking class we felt like we were part of the family right after picking them up. Arrived at the farm where we could pet the animals of the farm. We then collected the eggs for our own food. While cooking , we got the best feta in the world and were entertained by the son of the family while preparing the food with the guitar 🎸. Mary showed us what life can be like in a Greek family. With extremely tasty, easy and fast recipes. At this point, thank you again to Mary and her family

The cooking class experience with Agni Farm was absolutely amazing! I went with two of my friends from college. We were able to meet animals such as chickens, dogs, cats, a horse, turkeys, and see cows and sheep. We picked herbs from the greenhouse and eggs from the hen house. The farm was beautiful with lots of wide open air and liveliness. Before cooking, we had traditional coffee and welcome cookies. We loved learning about how this family supports itself by growing their own food, raising their own animals, and even making their own ingredients such as olive oil and flour. My friends and I felt this part of the experience has inspired us to try and incorporate these aspects in our own lives back home. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the family and asking questions about Greek life and culture. We cooked 6 different dishes, all of which were so delicious! We will definitely be cooking them again at home! Also, the feta cheese was beyond anything I had ever tried in my life, and it was made right on the farm! I cannot recommend this experience enough. We were at home here and felt it was one of the top parts of our trip to Greece.

This was my favorite experience in Thessaloniki. The family that owns the farm are all amazing kind people. They told us about life in the city and let us ask any questions we had. The animals on the farm were very friendly and fun to meet. The farm was so warm and welcoming. We also got to pick some herbs from their garden that we then used in our cooking. The dishes that we prepared were traditional Greek dishes and they came out great!! The many hours on the farm went by very quickly because we were having so much fun. I would very much recommend this experience to everyone.

Got to spend a fantastic lunch with Maria and her family (pets included!). I especially liked the feta-cheese and the accompanying guitar music. Great people, great food, great event!

It was a wonderful experience. Maria and her family welcomed me very warmly. We gathered vegetables and fresh eggs and prepared six simple traditional dishes. Maria explained and demonstrated the cooking principles in detail and clearly. I can recreate all the dishes at home. Then we had lunch together. Greek cuisine and ingredients are fresh and healthy, seasoned with home care and love. I would be happy to return to Maria for more Greek master classes.

Maria, her family, and farm are all amazing. I did this class by myself as a way to spend my birthday filled with good food- and glad I did. Maria taught some very traditional recipes that can easily be recreated at home. In addition, they offer you a little history into the town the farm is located in- which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend for solo travelers or groups.

This was the warmest most delightful way to spend my birthday. The Agni family embodies the kindness, welcoming hospitality and fun of Greeks. Everyone, including Hermes their lovely horse were so involved and nice. Picking your own fresh products from the farm was such a refreshing way to live this experience. The cooking was intense but we learn so so much, you get at least 5 meals in one. The grand finale was a beautiful family dinner in their terrace. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Do you want to experience the real Greece? This is it with lots of joy, laughter, passion, and great food! We so enjoyed meeting and being welcomed by Maria, Aggelos, Christina, Constantino, and Hermes, the family horse. Maria did a magnificent job of sharing and showing us her family's favorite dishes. Everything was fresh, mostly from their own garden. The homemade tomato sauce and sheep's milk feta were outstanding. We chopped, stirred, stuffed peppers, gathered fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, and herbs. The very best part was Maria's love and passion. Her joy filled the kitchen. Her family lives in a blessed home! BOOK NOW for an unforgettable experience of the real taste of Greece!

This experience was phenomenal. Maria has such a beautiful family that cares about you and especially about food!! They have animals and fresh produce that are cute and delicious. I would do anything to come back to Greece for 100 more classes. Maria also does nails and she makes large batches of cheese, tomato sauce, natural skin care, and more! It was an incredible day and I had so much fun cooking with her and her family. The food was delicious, I can’t wait to use what I’ve learned at home. Don’t think twice about booking this experience it’s unforgettable!! Thank you agnifarm I LOVE YOU!!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of doing a cooking class at Agni farm with Maria and her family. What a special experience!! The day started with Maria and her husband picking me up at my hotel - they were warm and friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable. We chatted easily during the car ride and they pointed out many landmarks - before I knew it we were at the farm! There, I was welcomed by their children and pets (including a very sociable horse!). We all sat down to have tea before exploring the farm together. During the tour, I had the opportunity to gather eggs as well as the vegetables needed for the meal. Maria explained I would be learning to cook some of her family’s favourite dishes. She was such a positive and encouraging teacher - she walked me through cooking seven (!!) different dishes including giouvetsi with veal, traditional gemista, tzatziki and horiatiki - such a treat! The smells in the kitchen were fantastic and I even got to sample various delicious homemade items like Maria’s specialty cheese while we waited for some of the dishes to finish cooking. I was amazed by how easily and quickly everything came together. The finished meal was excellent - I especially enjoyed the fresh salad, the tenderness of the cooked veal, and the flavours of the stuffed peppers and tomatoes from the gemista - yum!!! Dessert was semolina halva which I had never tried before - so tasty!! I left the farm feeling satiated by not only good food but good company!! I am excited to try these new recipes with my own family when I get back home to Canada - thank you Agni farm!!!
